There's more evidence of influence with 5 of his campaign advisors than anything Republicons had on pizzagate or Benghazi. Calls for an independent investigation will only continue. They actually believe in the rule of law and the Constitution though.

USAToday has never been anything great - just a convenient site to at a glance see what the headlines are. Like most established media, it always tilted a little to the left. But now it's simply an opposition newspaper. Of the 8 or 10 highlighted stories, there are always at least 3 or 4 that pertain to Trump, and they are uniformly negative. Right now here are the Trump headlines:

Comey was not incompetent, he was trying to perform miracle and keep Hillary and Obama out of jail. I hope his firing signals his failure in this task.

Agreed - there have been certain major incidents that have temporarily led to differences being put aside - Bush was widely popular in the months after 9/11, to your point on Bin Laden, etc. The day to day political slog is tiresome though. Trump isn't even going to allow McCabe to be Interim Director until his new pick is confirmed. McCabe is only keeping the seat warm for now. The DOJ plans to appoint an Interim Director within the next few days, maybe as early as today, to lead the FBI until Trump's new pick is confirmed.
