Hahaha... actually they are #2 and #4, Saudi Arabia is #3.

You could actually add #2 and #3 together, double it and it still would be less than what we spend. So much for "spending big".

Lol. The idiot didn't read the post.

US Military Spending Dwarfs Rest Of the World

"It's no surprise the United States pours more money into its military than any other country in the world.

In 2015, the US had a defense budget of about $597 billion, according to the International Institute for Strategic Studies' most recent World Military Balance Report, released earlier this year.

In short, that's more than the next 11 countries combined.

Even China's reported budget of $146 billion — good for second-highest in the world — looks modest next to that of the US.

It's safe to say the incredible funding the Pentagon receives is the driving force behind America's military strength."

She has just as valid point as those who question the patriotism of liberals and those who claimed Obama hated America.

questioning the patriotism of those burning flags, killing cops, advocating for the killing of cops, involved in violent protest, blaming America for every other country's problems. blaming white people for everything in general. not standing for the national anthem, supporting communism, socialism, any "ism" that isn't capitalism, meddling in the brexit elections, elections of Israel, sending billions of dollars to the number 1 state sponsor of terrorism, lifting sanctions on a defiant communist country in our backyard? that sort of patriotism you mean?

Protesting is about as American as it gets. Freedom of Speech ring a bell?
Many soldiers who spilt blood and took up arms in Vietnam burned US flags as a protest against our government's policies.

Guess what, none of the founding fathers stood for the national anthem either. Again, protesting is as American as it gets. The founding fathers were protesters.

How about trying to undermine the President of the United States by propagating a lie that he hadn't been born in this country for years after being handed the very documentation requested???

Not sure what brexit or Israel have to do with patriotism or America...or lifting sanctions against Cuba. What did the 50+ years of sanctions accomplish? The rest of the world was already trading with Cuba. Why not sanctions against China? They are communist. The US will have much more influence with Cuba by having an open relationship than by trying to shun it.

Supporting "isms"... an OVERWHELMING majority of Americans support many socialistic aspects of America.
Social Security, public schools and universities, unemployment benefits, Medicare, Medicaid, public streets, roads and highways, public parks, fire protection, police protection, municipal utilities, etc. The only difference is where they draw the line. Not if the line should exist.

Blaming white people for everything? What? I mean the same why you blame blacks and Muslims for things?
When Timothy McVeigh blows up a building the narrative is "Damn Timothy McVeigh!" as it should be. But if Zacarias Moussaoui blows something up it's "Damn Muslims!". Same with blacks.

Who is advocating or calling for cops to be killed? Probably fewer than those who follow David Duke and claim to be Republicans. Neither the left or right have any monopoly on stupid people.

Yep. There is 0% chance the Fed gets audited. 0%. Think the clintons were effective at eliminating their threats? It'll be child's play compared to what happens if this moves forward.

But realistically, it'll just stall. The Fed isn't just deep state or shadow government. They run way more of this country than anyone else. No way this will ever happen legislatively.

White House calls for domestic cuts to finance border wall

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is proposing immediate budget cuts of $18 billion from programs like medical research, infrastructure and community grants so U.S. taxpayers, not Mexico, can cover the down payment on the border wall.

The White House documents were submitted to Congress amid negotiations over a catchall spending bill that would avert a partial government shutdown at the end of next month. The package would wrap up $1.1 trillion in unfinished spending bills and address the Trump administration's request for an immediate $30 billion in additional Pentagon spending.

The latest Trump proposal, disclosed Tuesday, would eliminate $1.2 billion in National Institutes of Health research grants, a favorite of both parties. The community development block grant program, also popular, would be halved, amounting to a cut of $1.5 billion, and Trump would strip $500 million from a popular grant program for transportation projects.

Other cuts include $434 million to immediately eliminate a program to encourage community service opportunities for senior citizens, eliminating $372 million in remaining funding for heating subsidies for the poor, and cutting $447 million in transit grants.
Don't think you're going to get any tears here, looks like a dope set of cuts. What's the federal government doing in medical research anyways? Seems like the most inefficient way to conduct medical research on the planet, frankly. Don't give me the university level research crap either....universities are big boys, they charge a trillion bucks a year, let them spend money on what they see fit. Not sure that's in the constitution that we have to prop them up.

$434M to encourage people to volunteer for the elderly? Shewww I'm in the wrong business. Soooo people know that elderly folks need help, and good people that want to volunteer know that, what do they need 434m of federal money to connect the dots for?

$500M for transportation projects....lols, bet that is chock full of some high speed and light rail projects that aren't worth the toilet paper in the porta potties at their job sites.

Keep cuttin Donnie!

This is exactly right because nobody is going to build any new coal fired power plants. It might slow the loss of mining jobs but coal demand isn't going to increase. It will allow coal operators to make more money from their existing mines (another gift to the billionaires) and allow them to poison the land where the miners live and work... that's about it. There will be fewer coal mining jobs by 2020 than there are today because there will be fewer coal fired power plants.
If you add a tax on natural gas and ban fracking, coal would be back where it was. Stop solar and hydro and the industry would be huge.

Incoming liberal butthurt

Good, best thing he has done so far. Billions have gone in the pockets of left wing zealots who keep the poor poor and voting democrat. Stupid is as stupid does and no one knows that better than liberal politicians. they keep their voters in the dark and tell them it is the republicans fault.

Top US coal boss Robert Murray: Trump 'can't bring mining jobs back'

The founder and chief executive of Murray Energy supports Donald Trump’s move to roll back Obama’s clean power plan but cautions the president to go easy on talk of a jobs revival

America’s biggest coal boss is hopeful that his industry will soon be freed of “fraudulent” green legislation that has hampered his industry, but warned Donald Trump to “temper” expectations about a boom in mining jobs.

Coalmining employed 98,505 people in 2015, according to theMine Safety and Health Administration, down from 127,745 in 2008, the year Obama was elected president, and about 250,000 in the 1970s. Trump has consistently pledged to restore mining jobs, but many of those jobs were lost to technology rather than regulation and to competition from natural gas and renewables, which makes it unlikely that he can do much to significantly grow the number of jobs in the industry, said Murray.

“I suggested that he temper his expectations. Those are my exact words,” said Murray. “He can’t bring them back.”
Last best hope for liberal idiots but, not true. Sorry Charlie, but coal will rebound.

You don't read or comprehend so well, do you?
Robert Murray is a Trump supporter and has a vested interest in coal...and he is saying that it won't bring back coal jobs. Technology allows them to produce more coal with fewer people.

Regardless if more coal is produced, if it is produced with fewer people then there is no benefit to miners or mining communities.

How come you just skip over all posts either directly refuting any of your stupidity, Or ones that call you out for not being a man and paying your debts?

It's just lazy and he gets pumped up to link articles that he doesn't even read. If he read them and understood them there would be no need to post them.

Just like his next post about Chjina's *reported* 146B military spending.....lol. That come from Chjina'a CBO? They reporting their slave labor? They reporting how many livers they had to harvest from healthy people for military upper management?

Get real. How tf is someone going to stand here and pass along financial info from Chjina, Russia, Iran etc as fact.....you don't have an effing clue.

On the contrary, comprehend very well just don't buy your take and constant searching for crap that fits your agenda. Does not mean he is right, you just want to believe it is so. But let's say for the sake of argument he is right. With that being the case, why are you liberals so up in arms if you think it won't matter.
