You really don’t explain the difference, but rather simply conclude there is a difference. Gender is founded in sex. The variations in the expression of gender do not change that fact. If gender was not founded in biological sex, there would be no need for trans people to undergo any kind of hormone therapy or surgery.

Otherwise no alternative sexualities would exist, we'd all be biologically programmed babymakers by biological sex.
