It absolutely does not. The Constitution specifies a range of rights that cannot be infringed. That doesn't include manufacture, and the Feds have long restricted the kinds of weapons manufacturers can make.
The first amendment doesn't mention the internet or telephones. Do Americans have a first amendent right while on the phone or on the internet?

Supreme court ruled porn is protected by 1st amendment, yet it's not mentioned in the 1st amendment.... Is it possible you see limitations where you want while seeing none where you need it?

When you consider what the current administration did to this country with sky high inflation, increased cost of gas and food, and flat out enablement of an massive invasion of illegal aliens…

And then compare this to how the country was humming along for 3 years under Trump pre-pandemic…

And then you consider what has now been laid out as Harris’ economic plan, along with her other positions she is on record for having…

Frankly this election shouldn’t even be in doubt. It really ought to be a Reagan-like landslide for Trump if most of the electorate was even mildly sensible.

Maybe, but that Rasmussen poll had him winning them 48/46. That ain't happenin.
It could. He came very close to winning several counties on the Texas-Mexican border, in 2020, which are about 95% or more Hispanic, and might have increased his popularity with that voting base since then. I wouldn't bet on 48% to 46% for Trump, but it's not totally out of the question. It's definitely a concern, for the Democrats both in the long term and short term, that Hispanics are eventually going to start voting 50/50 at best for Democrats in future elections.

2 weeks until UK's first football game. Go Cats! We can all agree on that can't we? Initially didn't we all come here for love of UK sports? Just a quick commercial break.
I’m admittedly not up to speed on how our roster looks and what we should feasibly expect this season. I have no idea what to anticipate when I tune in for the first game.

So analyze it. What does this mean? He's talking about Pence. He's talking about using the mob to apply pressure to "the weak ones"(Pence who said no to his coup plot) to get him "to take back our country."(acknowledge his fake electors and gavel him reelected when he wasn't)
HAHAA....out of the whole speech he gave, thats what you got??

He's Trump. He doesn't say anything off a teleprompter. Its not scripted, he just wants to march and get attention. We have Dems openly saying you need to get in their face and cause violence, but Trumps speech is the ultimate worst? Oh my gosh.....you cant be serious.

I admit, i thought Trumps speech wouldve been much more aggressive. You She/Hers make it sound like he told the crowd what to do. I'm embarrassed to be discussing this.. I bet you speak to managers about Rupp Arena hotdogs.

Her economic price control plan is idiotic.
Trump is an idiot too.
Very unhappy with my choices.

Well she wasn’t chosen to provide the American people with good economic policy. We all know why she was chosen, which is the point we’ve been making over and over.

One of your better posts Sambo…you’re getting there.

What do the Dems think of Kamala passing on all media requests, only speaking to crowds without answering any difficult questions?

This is the first time in American History that a candidate is unwilling to talk.

Its kind of scary. I know this sounds nuts, but i feel much safer with Biden in office than Kamala.

A lot of folks a lot more informed than you and me don’t believe it either. It’s actually pretty ridiculous on the face of it.
Except ARD, Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Wall Street Journal all stand behind story. German Polizei (Police) issued an arrest warrant for a key UKR suspect involved in the plot. Additionally, Polish prosecutors involved in the case.

Man, these people are just sick.

It's already a testament to my credibility that someone as far removed on the other side of the political spectrum from me as yourself finds me credible to being with. I have to be, as the (basically)sole bannerman of The Left here and the target of everyone's ire. I've pointed out many of the dog whistles posted here before, that even the person who posted it didn't know about. Propaganda is alive and well these days my friend. Somehow the thread recognizes that in regards to legacy media, but doesn't apply the same standard universally.

https://www.newsweek.com/migrants-monthly-payment-nyc-higher-veterans-compensation-1886431

A family of four migrants in New York City receives more monthly funding than a family of four that includes a military veteran who receives disability compensation.

New York City has taken in more than 175,000 migrants and spent upward of $1.45 billion just in fiscal year 2023 to shelter, feed and provide services to migrants. The city has said there is "no end in sight" to the copious numbers of migrants and projects that an extended timeline of the current rate of migration means a cost to the city of approximately $12 billion by the 2025 fiscal year.

Mayor Eric Adams, who like mayors in Chicago and Denver has requested more assistance from the federal government, has said the influx of migrants could "destroy" his city. He has feuded with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has bused illegal migrants to Northern cities because of their sanctuary status.

Not sure if you thought I was overstating or understating... but it was probably a low estimate. Free housing, food and medical. $5000 is a low estimate.
Do the math. $1.45 billion in 2023 divided by 175,000 people, then divided by 12 to arrive at a monthly figure. $690.48, not $5,000.

I agree that we need to do whatever possible halt the ridiculous influx of illegal immigrants and have a better way of dealing with legit asylees and refugees. However, throwing around wildly inaccurate figure undermines your argument.

The 1.45 billion dollar figure for NYC illegal immigrant expenses was published as of the 9th of August 2023 for at most the first 6 months of 2023, and was for a total number of immigrants only "approaching 100k" and not for 175k. It could've been lower than 75k at that point, but even using 90k the city would've been spending about $2700 per migrant per month at the time.

That's why they expected at that time for it to be between 9 billion and 12 billion dollars by the end of 2025 at that time. They were expecting at most 100k people. They weren't expecting to be at 175k or more and they're NOT going to publish those figures accurately during an election year. They do not want that faucet turned off because too many people of influence have their hands in that pie.

Distorting even the underreported figures and timeline is expected of democrats excusing and seeking to minimize the destruction they've brought upon themselves and this country and just confirms how much they will lie to support their abusive policies.
