One spouse agrees to go to work. The other spouse agrees to give up their career and focus on the home and kids. (Notice I am NOT saying one is the man and one is the woman ... you guys don't know what that means anymore anyway...just saying one spouse and the other spouse) Then, when the spouse who went to work for the family UNIT dies, who does any accumulation of wealth belong to? Not the family unit? That is what you just said. You just said the wealth is not the family's. In the scenario i detailed, "are you sure about that? (5 minutes?")

This. My Dad was a thirty plus year railroad worker. He started at L&N which became Seaboard Systems which then became CSX, which Dad lovingly referred to as Chicken Shit eXpress. The majority of those 1000 plus per year derailments happen in the yards. One of my Dads good friends and fellow crew workers was killed when a boxcar fell over on top of him in a tunnel at Osborne yard. My Dad had taken off that night but his other good friend saw it happen. He taught me mad respect for railroad crossings when he was teaching me to drive. 37 years later and I can still hear him yelling “Boy! If you EVER stop on those tracks again, I’ll kick your ass up between your eyeballs!!”

It’s insane. I have been there several times and it grows every day. They have announced the end of it, and it is like going to Rupp.....but in Wilmore. Right now, non-Wilmore residents are not even allowed in. The main chapel holds 1500 people, and there were like 25,000 people yesterday. Asbury is not a big place at all. Residents and businesses have grown weary. It will officially end on Thursday.
