Trump will likely lose a lot of votes if he has Graham on the ticket. Trumps warts were acceptable because he was seemingly the anti establishment candidate. Graham is about as establishment as you get.

The knock on Desantis is that he’s buddying up to the establishment.

If the choice is between two guys who’ve buddied up to the establishment, I’ll take the one who stood up to the insanity during Covid and has far less baggage than Trump.

The only reason to vote for Trump would be to watch him burn the Washington establishment to the ground. A war against the establishment would be the first war Graham didn’t support.
100% agree. Good post

Greatest example (there are a few more) in my lifetime of 'politics' in selecting a VP was Kennedy/Johnson.
Mondale's choice is another...only more in diversity than political leanings.
Maybe Reagan/Bush as well.
Reagan / Bush was a head scratcher. But I guess Reagan wanted a balanced ticket and needed what was then the 'establishment" vote. If you recall Reagan was called everything in the book back then, even by Republicans. Reagan won by a landslide two times.

The word "racist" and not yet been invented but if it had been, Reagan would have been called that. Along with homophobe and war monger. The Bush family has been exposed making it even more unbelievable Reagan picked him. But it worked, twice.

If you look at history Trump and Graham are not that far fetched. And it would get Graham out of the Senate which is a very good thing.

Can anyone explain why all of that is grayed out to where I can’t use it when I’m using the site on my phone or iPad, but not when I’m in the PC. Is it an iOS thing? What’s the reason? Anybody else experience that? There was a time a while back when it worked.

Click the 3 vertical dots for menu more options, then brackets for toggle BB code.

Would this be a good team. Graham for VP with Trump. Could it give him the establishment vote he would need to beat Biden? Maybe some Never Trumpers would have second thoughts?

Oh god this would be an awful decision. The gop nominee needs a candidate from a battle ground state ala youngkin

At this point we have to hope they attack NY, Cali and a couple other leftist states and leave the rest of us alone. Joe said he wasn't worried about China... LOL.

Ha as long as it’s Souther Cali, I’m up north! 😂

Well the spy balloon (to my knowledge) didn’t fly over a single blue state during its “tour de America”

Ben Carson. I like to hear him talk. I would like for every segment of our society to hear what he has to say about certain issues.
I like Ben Carson. When Trump was president he came to Cairo Il to evaluate public housing. Cairo was a major connection and wealthy town during the riverboat days. There's a street called Millionaire's Row where all the wealthy from the boat industry had homes. President Grant used to vacation there with his wealthy friends. Cairo has rapidly declined over the years. At one point, all their police cars were repossessed. Ben basically said there wasn't enough money to update large portions of public housing that had fallen into serious disrepair. The left was very upset over his comments.

Yea, Ben Carson would be a tremendous VP. Should have taken him in 2016
I like Carson as well....but I don't see how much he would add to the ticket. Doesn't have a geographical base like a Gov or Senator (battleground state). He's a solid christian...but a conservative Rep candidate already has that bloc. And we've seen a number of times where the black vote will vote Dem hell or high water (may be changing a bit with Trump).

OK, I'll bite. What potential Pub Prez candidate hasn't buddied up to the establishment?

Certainly not Trump. He brought in Mike Pence who is establishment to the core. Now if Trump picked Tulsi Gabbard she wouldn't be considered establishment. They might even get the Weed Vote as she is for legalization of marijuana and punish big pharma. She is smart and experienced. It might work.

Cats down 10 at the half. Even if they come back in the 2nd half and squeak out a win they may be out of the tournament. This sucks. Come on U K, play like U K basketball is suppose to play.
Yeah that game was awful. Hoping next years class has the makeup of some of Cal’s earlier teams. Willing to give one more chance. Beyond that I hope he hits the road.

Not the one that pulled me over for going 45 in a 25 on a deserted main drag as I was heading to Cape Girardeau. He let me off with a warning. I think he just wanted somebody to talk to. That place is practically a ghost town. There’s some infrastructure and history there. Seems like some wealthy entrepreneur could develop the place to be some kind of tourist destination. Would have to center it around gambling or something, but it could be a neat little destination if done right.

But oh yeah, we aren’t going to be allowed to travel more than 15 minutes from our homes anyway so maybe not.

I used to pass through there twice a week, but it was on the way to deliver to a customer I dropped when I decided to cut back on work hours. I hear they eased up some on the speed trap. Its in a bad spot, but the park just after you cross the river from KY was voted the dirtiest state park in the USA. There has been a LOT of racial strife there over the years. Riots in the late 60's was probably the final nail in the coffin.

Saw a retweet of his tweet in the comments. I've been to a few of his seminars/speeches. Nice guy.
Know anything about Stansberry Research?

I like his talks too. He's been doing the rounds on YT channels lately and has been sounding the alarm. I've been buying up silver since last summer. It doesn't make me feel safe when every single expert says "I've never seen this much bad data in every single sector"...

Stansberry has a YT channel I believe that interviews experts.

Wasn’t there at least one photo op where the person giving the shot never removed the cap?

Yeah there was a ton of fake shots/videos. Most have been scrubbed by big tech at this point.

Crisis actors faking Covid, actors disguised as doctors on social media/local commercials, footage of body bags with actors in them and fake Covid testing lines, thousands of Twitter bots all repeating the same line “tested positive for Covid thankful for the vaccine or would’ve been worse” bs, politicians wearing masks only til they think the cameras are off.

Major psyop and propaganda campaign to get mrna into the population.
