My 13 year old’s team had its season shut down as, well, because the coach got tired of losing.

What kind of mind...or what happened to you...to .approve of policies that intentionally destroys the country in which you live? That has given you the opportunity to be successful (even if you didn't, at least the opportunity is there for all)?

No doubt in my mind. CBS, NBC, ABC and the majority of cable news outlets are solid Democrat. A conservative does not last long on these channels. You know $$$$$$$ are involved along with the instructions.

At what point will they open their eyes and really see this for what it is. There’s nothing at all accidental about any of this.
Precisely what Dion is guilty of. Us Gen X’ers tried to learn from our parents. Gave our parents respect, and usually tried to live by their examples and used technology and advancement to speed up the processes that took our parents decades. But the generations and technologies of subsequent generations has sped past them and created a generation of drones glued to their phones and devices that have allowed nefarious and evil forces to infiltrate their minds, now we have a generation that hates their parents, has zero respect for them, hates the concept of family and hard work and building a career and wealth and their own family. It truly has been a systematic brainwashing that has taken place. It’s frightening.
Greatest example (there are a few more) in my lifetime of 'politics' in selecting a VP was Kennedy/Johnson.

Trump will likely lose a lot of votes if he has Graham on the ticket. Trumps warts were acceptable because he was seemingly the anti establishment candidate. Graham is about as establishment as you get.
The knock on Desantis is that he’s buddying up to the establishment.
If the choice is between two guys who’ve buddied up to the establishment, I’ll take the one who stood up to the insanity during Covid and has far less baggage than Trump.
The only reason to vote for Trump would be to watch him burn the Washington establishment to the ground. A war against the establishment would be the first war Graham didn’t support.

There are two sides to every story. Obviously the mother is highly anti LGBTQ from her comments. If not, her daughter would have told her this info before seeking out a school counselor. It is a tough position to be in as a school worker.
I do think that the school should make resources/support groups available to the kid AND parents when finding out this information. The parent needs to know about this and I think a good policy is to have followup meetings involving the kid, parent and any outside agency that works with LGBTQ students. Gotta have parental involvement when possible.
Where it gets tricky is when the parents want to completely deny the issue and want the school to do absolutely nothing. That is just not always possible. Many of these students are suicidal and need an adult who they feel comfortable talking to. You can't just tell the kid you can't talk to them anymore. Then find out the next day they shot themselves in the head. Now you are liable for denying counseling service to a potentially suicidal student and sued by the same dumbazz parent. It is also on your conscience the rest of your life.
The only thing I found disturbing from the article was the claim that somebody have her directions on how to bind the breast. That is not something that school personnel should do imo....especially if the parent isn't present. They should tell the kid they are not alone in having this issue....they have someone who cares about them....they have someone to talk to... and set up a meeting with student/parents where they provide a representative and a list of outside agencies who can go into more detailed discussion of how to deal properly with the issue of being transgendered. If the parent refuses to meet....then keep telling the kid they are loved at school, You will be there for them regardless of what gender they are, provide them with a number to call and document that you did this in order to cover your ass in the event of a suicide.
