We don’t agree on a lot, but we agree on part of your post. Trump will go scorched Earth on anyone who is in the Republican primary. There’ll be third grade nicknames and digging for dirt to use on any and all primary contenders opposing him (see the 2016 primary). It’s not an unknown variable. AND, if someone else is challenging him and the primary race gets tight, Trump will play the card of running as a third party candidate to splinter the vote to scare the $hit out of the party into getting on board. All of this is in his DNA and has been on display through multiple election cycles, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
I thought most anatomical male figure skaters were borderline tranny anyway. The vast majority are obviously in the LGBTQRSTUV community.
It’s not stopping them from trying.
I know that years ago a lot of them got in the motel business. At least in the South. Rented a house from an Indian for a year while my house was built. He had moved out of Atlanta to S. Georgia when he bought a motel. He told me a number of his friends and relatives were buying old motels.
I used to sell lamp shades to some Indian owned motels. Some were good people, but to many would ask for a price on a large order and when the order came it was small. The same ones who did that would want to buy at less than my cost to make. They were too big a hassle to fool with.
I have often wondered the same thing. I visited Kentucky last fall and I was amazed at the people I talked to who are going to vote for him and they were Republicans. I just SMH

There is serious, very serious consideration being given to making the rape of a child a death sentence in our state. It is before the State Legislature . I think it may happen.

And his handling of the two major disasters in KY make him look very sympathetic.

Ron can't win in 2024. Too much of the MAGA base would stay home or vote D out of protest if Trump isn't the nominee. Hope he isn't that stupid but supposedly Casey is really pushing him to run.
All people are influenced by the society they live in. Not just black people.
Big mistake but Trump is Trump. If DeSantis won the GOP nomination Trump would go scorched earth and instruct his people not to vote for the ticket. That is another reason I want DeSantis to sit this out. Trump is too toxic and is not a team player. No sense in getting involved with a Trump war. It is a no win.
Remember how Trump attacked Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. Fortunately for Kemp the Georgia voters ignored Trump and re-elected Kemp with a comfortable margin. Then voted against the Trump candidate for Senatre. I seriously doubt Trump can win Georgia now. His candidates sure couldn't. And if Trump goes after DeSantis he will not win Florida.

You are telling me Trump is not a team player and he must be the man and nobody else. I agree with you 100%. That is who he is and apparently many of his base will do what he says.
They would rather have Joe Biden or Kamala Harris than Ron DeSantis. OK. We will keep him down here. I consider myself part of Trump's base but no way I vote Democrat. I have seen too many of them in my lifetime to ever support one. They are all evil in my eyes.

Most liked his handling of covid. He did daily briefings and made people feel safe. He’s mostly stayed away from culture war issues, since he’s always hamstrung by the R legislature the only progressive thing he’s really done is implement medical marijuana and that has bipartisan support in the populace.
I saw a poll the other day where he was way ahead. I don't understand it unless it's all the "freebies" he has given out during covid where people didn't have to work. Neither my wife nor I will vote for him.
Looking at all these scenarios of '24...Trump going scorched earth....Repubs staying home if he doesn't win the nomination....Dems/Indies/moderates coming out in full force if he is the nominee.....I doubt the Republicans can win the WH in '24. They proved in November they can't win even when the economy and foreign policy is in the toilet so I'm not sure he can win with a bad economy and he campaigns on his economic accomplishment in '16 to '20.
Obviously a lot of Paul and/or MM voters will vote for him it seems.
Remember when I was younger a lot of voters would vote for 'the best man'. With the way the Democratic party has evolved over the last 30-40 years....in favor of things that are blatantly immoral.....I can't imagine any Repub who would vote Dem. But they do. A lack of core values to me. JMO
