The biggest problem for Republicans? Split-ticket voters. Can't figure it out but the party better and soon.

Trump's voice, words, Tweets, actions and political message might sound sweet to you.... But it makes the majority of Americans want to vomit. 🤢
It's actually the false reporting and out of context quotes that people hate about Trump. If you actually play his whole quote on most of these things most people are like "oh, I didn't realize that is what he said".... Like the "fine people on both sides" and "China if your listening, hack Hillary".... Neither of those 2 things are anywhere close to how they were reported but liars like you just keep up the lie.

Both Fetterman and Oz are awful. We should be able to agree on that. Walker however is one of the worst candidates to ever run for public office, so naturally I hope he sticks around and decides to run for Governor or something next. Maybe next time he'll talk about the Invisible Man. Going forward, a positive first step for Rs would be to finally begin dumping Trump en masse immediately, like tomorrow morning. Rs should make it clear they're moving forward and away from Trump. Making elections secure is a good talking point but once you begin going into Trump/massive fraud/2020 and 2022 stolen election territory, then you've lost most people and the plot.

Most are probably assuming Trump is going to be the nominee and members of "his" Party have been getting questioned over his continued, insane posts regarding 2020 and terminating the Constitution to force him back into power. Anyone can see that's not a winning strategy. Just whining that the other side is cheating isn't going to get people back to your side either. Congrats on barely getting the House but there was no Red Wave and the media will continue to focus on Trump's insane rants because he's the leader of your Party until your Party says otherwise.

so how do democrats win with awful candidates? why is it republicans must run the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan yet dems run a stroke victim and still manage to
so how do democrats win with awful candidates? why is it republicans must run the reincarnation of Ronald Reagan yet dems run a stroke victim and still manage to win?
Several reasons. Minority Ds straight party vote D come hell or high water. Conservatives and religion aren’t ā€œcoolā€ and Rs turn off young people because of this. Trump is a disgusting, fat, hothead that can’t control himself. Those are a few. Rs have to unite with an appealing candidate to more of the general public.

That is so absolutely wrong.
Look at Sununu, DeWine, Kemp and DeSantis in recent state races.
Republicans that aren't election denying extremists do well.
The reason Trump is no longer President has nothing to do with the establishment. It is solely because he is a terrible human being.
All of them were sitting Governors, 2 of them were helped immensely by Trump in getting elected originally.

Sununu is a legacy candidate in NH and Dewine is in a State that has turned solidly red.

Sununu is a Rino, listen to him and like he doesn’t realize it isn’t 1988 anymore and the Rep party is still the party of the wine and cheese crowd. The establishment wants it to go back to that, it isn’t.

No...we have been hearing him loud and clear for 6 years now.
We have seen his Tweets with a dude raising a fist and yelling "White Power".
We have seen his Truth Social post calling for termination of articles of the Constitution.
There are NO good people on the side of Nazis.
Asking a dictator like Putin for ANY help in our US elections is BS.
He is on video inciting a mob to attack the Capitol.
The media bias has zero to do with the way Americans feel about Trump.
He dug his own political grave.

It may never go back to what it was... But it has to move away from what it has become.

Fetterman didn’t win because OZ was terrible. The best candidate in the world could not have overcome the cheating by the Dems in PA

He won because of both

Are you seriously trying to say Fetterman was a better candidate than Oz?

The DNC is churning out ballots regardless of candidate or the other party’s candidate.

I didn't say that at all. Libs don't care. They just vote for whomever they're told. Gop have much more discerning voters

And yet Walker is light years better than Fetterman, and Oz is not a bad candidate.

OK... Lets get this straight. You are comparing a lifelong unemployed loser who lives in his parents basement to a world famous dr who has saved lives?... and are saying "we can all agree they both suck".... LOL. One sucked the other only sucks because he didn't have a D by his name.

https://abc7ny.com/dr-oz-airport-sa...,back-up immediately and began CPR on the man.

NEWARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- Dr. Mehmet Oz reunited with 60-year-old Joe whose life he saved when he suddenly suffered a heart attack in the baggage claim area at Newark Liberty International Airport.

The incident happened earlier this month in Terminal C at around 11 p.m.

Port Authority Police say Officer Jeffrey Croissant was on patrol when he witnessed a man fall to the floor in the baggage claim area.

I love it when you show how biased you are. LOL.

Media bias is why you think about any of that.
You’re quite literally more concerned with nonsense than you are that the sitting US President has used his elected position to take money from China, Russia, Ukraine and probably cartels.
It’s unbelievable if it weren’t true.

And yet Walker is light years better than Fetterman, and Oz is not a bad candidate.
Fetterman should not have run but if Oz truly isn't a bad candidate, then he should have won. But he couldn't beat a stroke victim. Some candidates just can't get it done. Maybe its his personality or how he ran his campaign.

Walker was interviewed on KSR a couple years back and came off extremely likeable, but he's got so much personal baggage, has said so many dumb things, appeared clueless with his badge (reminded me of Woody from Toy Story), and his son came out against him hard. You ain't winning an election with all that going on.

Okay, you don't think Oz sucked as a candidate. That's fine, but as I stated above, if he couldn't get it done against a stroke victim who honestly should not have run, then at some point you've gotta blame his campaign or him as a candidate. It's easy to just say the one who won sucked, or the voters are stupid, or there must have been cheating. Put forth someone who the people believe is a better option and profit.

If Oz ran as a dem the media and you would be saying how great of a candidate he was. The only thing that makes him bad in your opinion is that he had an R by his name and Trump endorsed him. He could save your moms life and you'd still hate him.

He wasn't a terrible candidate. Trump's endorsement and close ties is what killed him. The majority of Americans HATE Trump with a passion.
Trump could probably endorse Jesus at this point and cause him to lose.

I don't hate him and you're being awfully dramatic with your last sentence. If you were running for office would you want Trump endorsing you at this point? I'd be curious to know your answer.

If he ran as Dem would you say he was a bad candidate? A world famous dr and surgeon. Friends with Oprah. I'll bet money that if he was running as a dem the coverage would be 100% different and you'd say "of course he's a great candidate". But you chose to compare a brain damaged adult child to the world famous dr. The fact you don't see the glaring difference between these 2 men is comical to me. And if I ran for office I'd weigh the support for Trump in the area I ran in.

It's easy to say he lost so he's bad. Dems did that when Hillary lost. They pointed out how bad of candidate she was until they realized she might run again and then she got cheated... but we can't talk about that.

Appreciate it. I just think it begins and ends with Trump. If Rs embrace him again, we get Biden v Trump II which no one wants and Biden wins. If Rs make it clear to Trump and the country that they've had enough and are done with his nonsense, they can move forward with DeSantis and more than likely Biden doesn't run again. Yes, the media might paint DeSantis as satan, which will be unfair, but he's not losing in '24. He just wouldn't. The country needs something fresh from both sides and I really believe the Rs response to how they handle Trump going foward is going to set things in motion.
