Setup.

Media keeps talking about the previously silent, unexpected Trump voters showing up and giving Trump the win. It just occurred to me while watching the news exactly why so many would-be Trump voters stayed in the closet during the campaign: They would have been attacked, defamed, criticized, abused by the protesting dems that are now refusing to accept defeat, destroying property and making arses of themselves.

They really are clueless. Think of the welfare and medicaid alone, much less their water crisis. Again, that SoCal demographic could not live further from reality. Absolute textbook Dems.
Those in California forget that a crapload of their fresh water comes from other states. Northern California can stay with the Union. That bunch from San Francisco are going to be thirsty mF'ers

I noticed the Portland Police reaction was much different last night than what we've been seeing here recently during these riots. As soon as it turned unlawful, dangerous etc... PP immediately warned the crowd that it was no longer a peaceful assembly, was considered a riot & to disperse immediately.

They then immediately went & got riot geared up, came back, tear gassed, maced, chased down, tackled, clubbed & arrested as many people as they could who didn't disperse as ordered. Have to think that change in attitude & behavior towards the rioters was b/c of Trump's soon to be presence.
It is what should be done if they become violent. Protest all you want as long as you do not physically attack people. When you attack with the intent to physically harm, then equal or stronger force should be applied to stop you.

Its so daggum funny and awesome that qe have a president that has said some of the shit hes said. fricken great

But honestly, i think he's gonna do a damn good job. i really do.

Trump supporters have been attacked outside his rallies since he became nominee. notice it didnt happen before then.. but after it was hildabeast vs DJT..the media shifted to him being a racist and the dnc paid people to agitate to make it seem like the people also thought this.

Geez. Are you really that naive and gullible to believe anything the media writes or says anymore???
Lemmings never learn. His blind allegiance to the left is mostly why they failed. They have many ignorant supporters most notable is he mainstream media. For people who claim to be educated, they sure make stupid decisions.

Very believable. I told my colleagues at work my choice was Jill Stein. I caught hell over it. True story.

Karl Rove describes Austin as, "Little Moscow on the Colorado". Ha ha, no joke. My mother in-law formerly worked for Karl when he ran his local direct mail business during the early 80s.

Two things that I have real life discussions about in this election are the electoral college, and voting third party.

First, as long as the federal government is overstepping it's bounds and behaving like your personal nanny, the electoral college is absolutely necessary. People in middle of nowhere Montana simply have different needs from government than people in midtown Manhattan, it's ridiculous to exclude people like that from the system. If the federal government actually lived within the bounds of the constitution, and state governments actually had teeth, then yeah, abolish the electoral college.

As far as voting third party, I've heard multiple times that voting third party ruined the country. Can you have a more stupid opinion? Voting for someone you actually agree with instead of a monster or literally Hitler according to CNN sounds absolutely reasonable.

Have we found a cure for butthurt?

Tuesday's election was just another shock to the mentally fragile left who can't comprehend there are people who disagree with them.

oh, come on now . . . how can this be? Mentally fragile? They are so much the better educated. We been told. Prone to better reason, analytical thought . . . these conditions are known to produce quality human traits that we deplorables are most expected to be without: composure, order, acceptance . . .

The best news of all is that this election is going to shake up both parties. While I'm no fan of Trump…his win will change both parties. Hoping that a legit 3rd party will evolve from all of this eventually…but i will settle for both the R's and D's changing their way of thinking in the mean time.

Also...

[laughing] @ Z thinking he is revealing some secret about Trump "moving to the center". No shit, dumbass. He has always been more to the center than the establishment Republican party. That's exactly why he won the nomination over the 16 other "establishment" Republicans. People want change. And they want it now. That side was ready for change. Ready to shake up the broke ass system in DC.

While on the other hand, the Democratic party basically had two candidates to choose from…but in reality they only had no choice at all. Because the DNC rigged it so that Bernie didn't have a fighting chance. They decided in 2012 that Hillary would be their nominee…more of the same ol' BS establishment politics at work. And then even Bernie sold out.

Had the Democrats had 6-8 legit candidates running…and the DNC had let them fight it out fairly…Hillary never would have won the nomination. I am sure of that. People are ready for change. Both parties.

And these dumbasses that are protesting and crying and having "group primal screams in the quad on campus" because their crooked, lying, establishment candidate didn't win are just ridiculous. smh. I mean, i could maybe understand their behavior if their candidate had even remotely been worth a shit. But she isn't. Not by a long shot. And when the FBI, backed by a Rudy led Justice Dept. complete with subpoena power, are finished with their thorough investigation into the corruption of the Clinton Foundation…their "beloved" establishment losing candidate will look like even more of a piece of shit than she already does…if that is even possible.

Funny that Z and several others were on here before the election saying that Hillary was going to win and that the Republican party was done for decades. Well, with a clean sweep on election night…who's done now? The Dems better recalibrate and adjust to the fact that the people of this country are tired of the established DC BS…or they really will be done for a long time.

But…I think they will change. And so will the Republicans. They don't have a choice. Change now…or die out completely. All because Trump shook up the world!

Still can't believe The Donald actually won. smh & [laughing]

I don't buy any of these names the MSM is floating around that Trump is considering.

Best one I saw was supposedly Trump was considering Kelly Ayotte as SOS.

Yes MSM, I'm sure Trump is considering a never Trumper in his administration.

Next we will see stories of how Trump wants Glenn Beck as Press Secretary. Good Lord MSM, we aren't that dumb.

I mean I guess I could end up being wrong, but I don't see why Trump would hire people that don't want the same mission that he wants.

Also the MSM lies so much that the names are probably false anyway, so theres always that.

I like Z's posts. Entertainment value rarely drops below the midpoint. and you are correct in your assessment - but this isn't limited to observations from just Z - as nobody gets elected potus by being (this is how I'll put it) "far right of center". So it should never be a surprise when any president drifts middle.

Even GWB was not a strong conservative, revealed in his soft stance on immigration / amnesty, at least for how the issue existed at the time. And that he signed the campaign finance reform act into law - one more example - authored/sponsored or whatever by Ted Kennedy, and considered by most DC conservatives as unconstitutional. even Reagan once offered amnesty to illegals. dammit

I've been told that Noam Chomsky - somebody I don't care to mention - has either stated or written that the last liberal president this country has known is Richard Nixon.

Commonly, followers of the democratic party can be noted without the ability to properly identify the characteristic - liberal - as applied to the political arena's participants, pursuits, results. This is revealed several ways, but none worse than when it ties in with their reckless inability to identify when persons in their own party have gone so far left of center, way left the liberal scale, and are socialist. It's a given that Carter, Clinton and Obama are way left of Nixon. Not sure, but I think Z may be among several of our "liberal" friends here who have called Noam Chomsky the smartest man on earth?

Greg popovich.. one of the biggest assholes in sports, might have just pissed off a lot of spurs fans.

Nothing is worse than a cuck pandering to minorities. It happens all the time. When I was in college, I would have elitist white professors just going off on whites and white Europeans and how oppressed everyone else was and that he was "down for the struggle."
