Good Lord you are Myopic. Nobody is suggesting we become a hermit kingdom. Good Lord. How about we make policies with other countries that BENEFIT US instead of making us the worlds sugar daddy. How about we do the things that make us less reliable on other countries for our basic needs and resources. How about we ask those from other countries who want to experience America's greatness, that they come here LEGALLY and if they can do that then they are more than welcome to stay and live and become productive citizens. That's America First policies in a nutshell. Policies and deals with foreign countries that take care of and protect our Citizens, our Freedoms, and our sovereignty first.
