We've had the war on drugs for 50 years now. You can't just legalize pot in a couple states and expect everything to just magically fix itself. This is something that will take generations to fix. You have to reestablish communities previously built around drug trade while introducing jobs those people can actually fill and live on. You have to find ways to encourage minority groups massed up in ghettos to spread out while not forcing out through gentrification. You also have to understand that cities will always have higher crime rates no matter what you do. When you stack people on top of each other it guarantees more crime because humans are just slightly smarter animals. You also have to rebuild American culture to where people actually respect each other again and aren't just trying to get famous on youtube.

Thanks, Joe!

So safe you can drink it, or not.

I've seen guys soaked in this shit while working in the fields. Coincidently, many of them died of tumoratic cancer.

A few years I was talking with a guy who manages one of the Ag centers around here. Sell seeds, fertilizer, sprays the fields, and so forth. Was telling me how much Roundup they use a year. It was an astronomical amount....
Asked him what they use it for (I was thinking spraying an empty field so it won't get overgrown)....he said they spray it on the corn. ??? I couldn't believe it so I questioned again about it. He said that the corn has been so genetically modified (against weed killer for one thing) over the years, that the Roundup doesn't affect it.

I still find that hard to believe, but since he's in the biz and I'm no farmer (only grow a few tomatoes), I'll take his word for it.

That is why seeds are marketed as "Roundup Ready" - the GMO crops are designed to be resistant to the glyphosate so the farmers can drench the fields with it to kill off the weeds and not hurt their crops. Canola, corn, wheat, oats, barley, and others are all sold as Roundup Ready variants.

It is also how they dry wheat before harvest. Ever see a uniformly brown wheat field ready to be harvested? They use glyphosate as a dessicant about a week before harvest to help the grain dry out and improve the harvest. Also done with oats and flax, and some legumes as well.

What are you gonna do when tons of black and hispanic people choose to live apart from liberals? Or do you believe blacks and hispanics have to vote a certain way?
They can't handle the fact that we want more republicans and conservative leaning voters, REGARDLESS OF THEIR RACE OR ETHNICITY!. We want all people here LEGALLY to have the same opportunities as everyone else, whether they are Black, Latino, Asian, whatever. If they came here to live the American dream and experience and respect the American way of life, none of that matters. But Dims need them on their plantations to be used as pawns in their efforts to maintain power. Fortunately for us, a lot of them are starting to see the light.

Roundup is not as effective, period, as it once was. Commercial farms are using other products created not to impact grasses, such as corn. But, it gets in the corn and the livestock eat it and it gets passed. When that manure is used for compost, the grazon is still on the mix and can be for years. Other farmer use the compost and it damages their yield.

Quote from this article:

We say our institutions held," Thompson said. "But what does that really mean? Democratic institutions aren't abstractions or ideas. They're local officials who oversee elections. Secretaries of state, people in whom we've placed our trust that they'll carry out their duties. But what if they don't?"

That was made clear Tuesday. What if Bowers, for example, had gone along with Trump's ruse? What if, facing threats, lawmakers and elections officials in Georgia or Michigan or Pennsylvania or Wisconsin went along?

The linchpin that holds the democratic system together is people willing to do what's right. How long can and will that last, if those people who want to do what's right are not supported by party leaders and elected officials in both parties and especially when their side loses?

The liberals are not afraid of overt bigotry when a gay, black, Hispanic, or woman (the people they want afraid and subordinate) is vocal about common sense conservatism. Liberals brutalize these people, because liberals have decided how they are supposed to think, vote, act.

Anyone watch the latest Jurassic World film? I found it interesting that a big part of the plot was this corrupt bioengineering company had designed these genetically enhanced locusts to destroy all crops that were not owned by their company, which would cause a massive famine and dependency on the locust-resistant crops that the bioengineering company owned.

In the two previous Bond movies (2015 and 2021), the plots were The Nine Eyes (a reference to the real-world counterpart 'Five Eyes) has been creating terrorist plots and attacks across the globe to create a need for a massive international surveillance program. The other plot was the creation of a virus (mind you, this was made before COVID hit) that had been programmed to the DNA of the person or persons and would spread from person-to-person until it reached the attended target.

Life imitating art? Or art imitating life?

I’m not going to give npr the click, but I assume that article is about the failures of our government and the unimaginable corruption of the Obama and Clinton syndicates around the time of the 2016 election when they did everything they could and used every government resource they could muster to undermine the peaceful transition of power that had been a hallmark of ur country for centuries?

Which should be of no surprise since Obama loved to weaponize government agencies to go against his political opposition---NSA and the IRS come to mind.

Pretty amazing the depths the leftist cult will go to in order to ignore all corruption by the Obama/Clinton scum all while gaslighting you about the "severity" of anything Trump related. Stormy Daniels and Tweets were the biggest things ever! Spying on journalists and presidential candidates, using the IRS to target conservatives, and creating a hoax and using the corrupt FBI to further it? Ah, no big deal.

what the **** are you even talking about? EA is a publisher, they heavily regulate speech within their brands. Disney is a publisher and heavily censors speech across its brands. School newspapers have tons of censorship rules. Anything that is not considered a public forum or a state actor can be censored. Milo Yiannopoulos' publisher canceled his book deal because they didn't like his youtube videos. Trump tried to censor Macmillian when they published Fire & Fury but they told him to **** off as is their right. Publishers cannot be censored by the goverment (they can if the feds declare it against national security) but can most definitely censor anything they publish. The market is free to censor its goods and also free to lose lots of money if they take it beyond what the public is willing to accept. You do know we still ban books in the US?
Some dipshit got this "publisher" word stuck in your head even though it means jack shit.

In Hazelwood School District v. Kuhlmeier, the high court ruled that school officials can censor school-sponsored publications if their decision is “reasonably related to a legitimate pedagogical purpose.” This means school officials must show that they have a reasonable educational reason for censoring the material.

How is it removed from the food once it reaches the consumer?

Me thinks, the latter.

Obama and Clinton weaponized the Government agencies to the point they can no longer be trusted to perform their duties equally and fairly and without bias.

How can one not absolutely loathe politicians? The scum of the earth. They make every aspect worse. They steal so much from you. There's zero accountability. They spend like a 16 year old girl with daddy's credit card. They are an absolute cancer to society. Nothing is ever their fault and they're quick to blame someone else.

If you had someone in your life who behaved like our government, you'd want nothing to do with them.

Hey Cali, I could save the taxpayers a ton of money right now without a committee. Your party, the green energy cult that it is, caused this.

OK, but then who do we replace politicians with?

No, he was telling the truth. Roundup was made for genetically modified crops so that it could be sprayed directly on the crop to kill the "suckers (weeds)" without killing the crop. The thing is, the crops suck up the Roundup and it shows up in the food. Oats, Wheat, Corn, Soy, etc.. Many believe that the sharp rise in colon cancers is due to glycophosphate.

Monsanto makes Roundup. Monsanto makes genetically modified plant seed. Bayer own Monsanto. Guess who oversees it all. If you said the FDA, you win.

The entire operation is corrupt as hell. Most people don't realize just how bad things have gotten for farmers in the last twenty or so years. Everything is now genetically modified and controlled by a handful of seed companies, and you have to purchase from them or get sued into oblivion.
