Also reports that Ukraine is folding in eastern Ukraine. Russia just took 2 cities with little resistance. One salvo and the army ran or surrendered.

If this keeps up it will mean that everyone that pushed for more war was just costing more live and money with the same exact end that anyone with a brain could predict. 100 to 400 Ukraine deaths per day. We could of negotiated the separation of the Donbas months ago. Do the math and add $56 billion.

Contained? Russia was running a guerilla war the entire presidency and moving troops into other Baltic areas while they built up Crimea shipyards. Russia was also busy trying to pretend that they weren't being decimated by their fake vaccine. Neither side has made any actual moves yet so we are at the same level of "containment" as when fat cheeto left. The most likely scenario is putin will see that Ukraine isn't worth the trouble. Installing a puppet regime like he had before is a much cleaner and cheaper solution. i say let the parents start suing the hell out of districts where there is a mass shooting. Shit will change fast. Take away federal funding for any state that doesn’t meet a safety report card. They do it for academics. Do it for what really matters and is the districts first job. Keeping kids safe.

That's fine. I think most reasonable people agree that we don't want to confiscate any responsible gun owners guns. Are there unreasonable people on the far left that want to do that? Yes absolutely, but 70% or so of our country doesnt want to confiscate guns, nor do I. What I would like to see is that buying guns, especially guns like the AR-15, is a privilege for responsible Americans and not something that any nutbag can easily do on every street corner in many states. There is a middle ground in there we can all reach if people will talk to each other instead memeing and cussing each other.

This is the mom that drove 40 minutes to her kids school...begged and yelled for cops to enter the school and was handcuffed by a US Marshall. She recognized a local cop, convinced him to tell the Marshall to take off the handcuffs...she then distanced herself from the crowd, jumped a fence, and went in and got both her kids. She went in unarmed...

She said she was not the only parent targeted...she saw police tackle one father, pepper spray another father, and officers tasered a third dad.

Not sure you got my drift: I was referring to the cost of lawsuits to the districts & taxpayers. Safety has to be part of the school budget.

KY has too many counties, especially poor counties, to maintain all these separate school districts and provide both a decent education & safety. They need to be combined despite their governments & schools being largest employers in a lot of places.

Who is going to want the job? You can only pick from the candidates you have. What will it take to get the candidates we want?

This and it won't be just money. Ya better money will get better candidates but noone is rushing towards bullets solely for money of that caliber.

Unfortunately you need the half crazy trigger happy cops that occasionally beat or shoot a scumbag. They're the ones also running into the fight.

It's an impossible balance but there is definitely a need for those people imo
