We have profound serious difference of consequence on matters both domestically and internationally for us to disagree on and discuss so why dumb it down into such ugly gutter trash? Irrespective of who is committing the crimes against children, there is one political group that seems interested in normalizing the behavior, and that, to me, is perhaps the most disturbing trend of all.

That's ludicrous but it makes life simple for you. No matter what Republicans do it is okay because the other side supports pedos.
It's why we don't have decent healthcare from birth to death and as a result you may lose everything you've worked your whole life for if you or your wife gets sick in retirement.
It's why we can't have a good discussion on Trump foreign policy, because I think there is some room there to give the man credit for rethinking American foreign policy.
It's why our middle class is eviscerated and the rich pile on because of the effectiveness of separating people by class then fueling hatred on socially divisive issues to keep them from realizing the profound unfairness of our taxation and the Gov handouts to those that are already rich while handing the country over to corporate control.
We have serious issues that directly impact the most import aspects of our lives yet we have drawn the battle lines along trans people, pedos running pizza parlors, and all the other foolish distractions used to keep you from getting at those real issues they are afraid of all of us coming to an agreement on.
I have a friend whose son is a public school teacher in the Florida school system. He hates DeSantis for speaking out against removing classical books like "To Kill A Mockingbird" and wants to include "Gender Queer" in it's place. You guessed it, he is a homosexual.
If people like him are not stopped the schools will continue to go down as more and more parents pull their kids out. DeSantis understands and is doing something about it.

It wasn't just saving the lives, to me the biggest immediate thing when the virus hit was the complete inundation of our hospital system/beds. A simple mathematical calculation based on worldwide hospitalization rates had every hospital bed in the United States full by something like May 15th if we didn't act immediately and decisively to shut things down until we knew what we were looking at and had a little better idea of how to handle it otherwise the entire hospital system collapses and people are not just dying of COVID, they're dying of everything for lack of treatment.
Of all the people taking a stand for children ... none are Dems ... none are liberals. This isn't the ONLY dividing line, but the left is now seriously impacting others, including children, with their lunacy.
But some on here still defend the left or will not speak out against the pedos.
