The case study you are citing as evidence of the fallacy of trans issues is exactly the opposite of what you are intending. This case study is the exact reason for allowing gender change and promoting it's mental health benefits. The person you cited as an example was NEVER given a choice in the matter like many of these laws are attempting to do.
Despite the fact that child was changed genitally, given hormones and raised as a girl.....they NEVER felt comfortable in their own body. They NEVER identified as the sex they were supposed to be....which eventually caused so much mental discomfort they chose suicide over living as the sex they were not comfortable with.
This is exactly how many trans people feel.
Even though they have the hormones, genitalia and societal pressures to conform to their identified sex.....they do not identify with that sex mentally. Because of that gender dysphoria they feel extreme psychological discomfort. This is exactly why trans kids are at such a high risk for suicide. All of these dumb ass laws being passed across the country in Christian Taliban states don't help.

Secondly I'm not saying 7 year old kids should have life altering surgery to change their sex. I think they should have to wait until age 18 for that.
But a teenager deciding to take hormones under the care of a doctor and with their parental permission should be an option imo and not punishable by jail for life.

This is a discussion about a child’s cognitive and rational ability to make choices that have life altering physical/mental consequences involving a topic that a huge majority of children change their mind on. You can’t see the forest for the trees though. Even in the idiotic liberal sense of gender, sexuality and gender are related as they influence each other with societal norms. You’re just one of the ones who keep bringing up children so others respond with it. It’s insane to allow people without a developed brain or body to take life altering hormones. We don’t give teens anabolics because they have body dismorphia and the FDA doesn’t allow cosmetic plastic surgery for underage teens.
