Probably need Biden’s cabinet to invoke the 25th. I read where biden said he wouldn’t go into Ukraine to rescue Americans if Russia attacks. Said usa and Russia shooting at each other would mean a world war. With those comments he just ceded Ukraine to the Russians. I mean why now would Russia not invade. Idiot president basically has removed the concern of US involvement. This guy hasn’t learned shit from history he’s a modern day neville chamberlain. Can’t believe where America is right now and what the leadership is doing to undermine the country

Lmao. You can Thank Republicans for the Neverending expanding power of the CIA and FBI. Liberals have been saying for decades to reign their bullshit in and instead we got the patriot act which gave them a blank check and ability to ignore all privacy laws. All those dipshits Trump surrounded himself with were the people pushing through the creation of DHS. The CIA is allowed to collect data on Americans they just aren't supposed to target them. Obviously they are never going to follow that rule and congress has never expected them to.

If your an American still in Ukraine and not a soldier, CIA spy, or working at the embassy, your a ****ing idiot and don't deserve to be helped. At some point people have to be responsible for their own stupid decisions. If Russia does invade they aren't going to be targeting Americans anyway.

Dude you missed the point. It’s not about saving Americans in Ukraine it’s about a president who took force against an adversary off the table! You guys thought trump was the Russian agent. Hell biden is giving them what they want. The fact we are sitting here yet again discussing a high possibility of Russia attacking Ukraine is proof of Biden’s failure as president. Biden has said too much to provoke Putin and Putin has zero respect for him. the Democrats have adopted this hawkish position toward Russia not to contain them rather to provoke. They are either stupid or are intentionally trying to start a war with Russia. I say Democrats bc Obama provoked Putin into taking Crimea. We need someone with balls in office to offset Russia. Not these spineless turds

Like I said, all he did was be black. No one has an answer to the question that isn’t “stoked racial tensions”. Lol.
It also works two ways. Bc he was black he pretty much had the easiest mainstream press of any president which led to things like trump and got us where are now.

It started the "if you disagree with anything, you're a racist bigot"

Obama was pretty much the Angela Merkel of the US...a lot of talk a lot of obsessing from the press and cult of personality solely bc of identity.

I remember his first 100 days a reporter asked "how enchanted are you to be in the white house." Some real truth to power shit.

No care or even questions on his crony capitalism, expanding 2 dumb wars to 7 (learn about Yemen- Bernie and Rand Paul tried to stop this), being the drone king of the world, etc etc. Which allowed Trump to come in with the "fake news" label.

I mean, pretty much the only reason ACA happened considering it's unconstitutional, is because no one in SCOTUS wanted to be called racist

You can thank a Democrat for these:
The Infrastructure Bill $$$$ for roads
Obamacare.
Civil Rights Legislation.
Marriage Equality.
Child Care tax credits.
College tax credits.
Public education funding.
Solar/battery energy initiatives.
Environmental Protections.
Social Security.
Minimum wage increases.
Union jobs.
OSHA protections.
Unemployment insurance.
Medicare and Medicaid.

You're welcome....
The Infrastructure Bill $$$$ for roads - will be diffused to beaurocrats,
much of the spending is not new, and most won’t be spent anytime soon. Out of the existing spending, most states will receive the same as the last fiscal year. Less than half of the bill’s spending is new; the rest reauthorizes existing spending. Of this new spending, only $110 billion goes toward roads, bridges and similar projects generally considered to be infrastructure, divided among the 50 states.

Obamacare.- unconstitutional

Civil Rights Legislation.- good

Marriage Equality.- not the govt business, but this is smaller govt bc the govt is removing itself, so good

Child Care tax credits.-
College tax credits-
- It would be a whole lot easier if we just had a completely flat tax structure

Public education funding.- wasted on unions and school boards, all data shows increased funding hasn't improved outcomes

Solar/battery energy initiatives.- don't know enough about it

Environmental Protections.- most of these were never enshrined in law, they were just more govt ppl doing nothing but taking tax dollars

Social Security. - ponzi scheme

Minimum wage increases.- min wage was never created to support a family, it was created to stop ppl so desperate for working for less. Raising min wage just always just balances to the same bc everything goes up

Union jobs.- I think we've seen what teachers unions do as an example

OSHA protections. - law was signed by Nixon

Unemployment insurance.- ok

Medicare and Medicaid.- bankrupt, dictates care, pays providers less than insurance

😂

The bill would require schools to post lesson plans in an online portal months in advance, allow families to opt-in or out of certain educational activities and require schools to form curricular advisory committees with both parents and educators. Those committees would be made up of 60% parents and 40% teachers. The lesson plans couldn't include any past history that could be seen as making one race, ethnicity, religion, etc feel superior/inferior to another. It's scary to think that John from the hardware store, Joanie from Wal Mart and Marty the meth addict could soon be determining the lesson plans for Indiana students.

Sounds great.

The last two years has shown the issue with unchecked power of governors, mayors, and school boards who do not give a crap about the kids.

LOL at the only possible reason conservatives thought BO sucked was because he was half black.

He was easily the worst, most ineffectual president the US has ever known. That which he did affect, only served to undermine American hegemony and her values.

The world would be an entirely different place right now if it weren't for him and these fools.

[laughing]

Never mind the most famous CIA covert operations of all time (Bay of Pigs, 1961, JFK and Operation Cyclone - Arming mujahideen, Carter, 1980) were carried out under Democrats.

Another thing - teachers have outsourced most of the teaching to parents anyway, since apparently they are the only profession that’s at risk for catching the covids. Might as well let the people that are actually doing the work have a say in what’s being taught, it is their children you know.

You literally listed Trayvon Martin, how was Obama's response to Trayvon Martin divisive? "You know, when Trayvon Martin was first shot I said that this could have been my son. Another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago." It's a common sentiment expressed by politicians when a young person dies. They say it about military deaths all the time. If it had been a white kid gunned down and a white president saying that you wouldn't be calling it divisive. You need to figure out why.

Hahahaha, everything is about race with you. Makes you a racist.

It's an integral part of their brainwashing. That idiot wannabe vigilante rentacop zimmerman would've done the same damn thing if Trayvon was Latinx white hispanic  and looked like him

Frankly, yes, because if that was all a student learned about they would not end up well educated. For example, I was an English major in college. You might consider that worthless, but I went to law school and ended up doing very well. If instead of English I had majored in "business" or something allegedly more useful, I would (arguably) not have been as well prepared for law school.
That may be true for you, but as you must be well aware, business is a great undergrad for law school. As is engineering and other STEM course work. Some of the best trial lawyers were former nurses. And, how many of your law school mates were philosophy and poli-sci majors? LOL. The good pre-law education is the one in which you excel.

"We're teaching math"
Okay looks fine, says every parent

"We're teaching 1619 project"
Every historian and scholar has panned this a pseudo history, notices everyone

Doesn't seem that hard.

I mean in college isnt the syllabus posted online and you can drop the course?

Remember schools are government entities, meaning they are funded by parents and citizens. The government answers to voters, aka citizens and parents.

Look at this shit. This is what you’re spending time on in public schools? Want to teach kids how to read an interpret actual data about masking instead? I hope Darlene from BFE makes it so all you can teach is Thomas the train in the sixth grade you DBs
Now that the current administration is turning away from mask mandates, ask this question again in 3 weeks. School should teach how to learn and be an independent thinker. Investigation and analysis seem lost. We have a bunch of the citizenry that just seem capable of retweeting the popular meme without contemplating what the meme means.

The current legislation is the response to a real problem in public education. Defenders of the current scheme are being as political as those who are responding with extreme legislation.

I'm right there with you.

As a public school product, I always thought private schools were ridiculous. Now, public schools are ridiculous and I'll sacrifice to make sure my kids aren't subjected to the nonsense being spread from both sides.
It is long over due to reimagine “public education.” Parents should get to choose where to send their kids and they should be able to direct tax money to the school of their choice. Many private schools have boards consisting of administrators, teachers, parents and alum. It’s a good model. A taxpayer who wants to send their child to a “private” school should be able to direct the “public fund” to that school.

As example, if the taxpayers are paying $10k per year to educate a child (it’s more, but this number works as an example), $8k should follow the kid to the school of the parents’ choosing and $2k should go to the “public” school where the child would have gone had the parents chosen “public” education. That way, the taxpayer created school gets money for a child who goes elsewhere and the parents get significant financial assistance for their choice as to the education of their child. [means test this if you don’t like paying for some rich kid’s education]

Public school advocates slam private education for political self-serving reasons, but in every metropolitan area, if private schools closed tomorrow, public education would collapse. There is no way the taxpayer schools could take on those kids whose parents are paying taxes AND tuition.

Ukraine is a perfect example of how stupid our politics are. the administration is proactively pulling out people that shouldn't be there and telling citizens to gtfo for weeks. And of course Trumpsters are bitching. and if they did neither of those things Trumpsters would be bitching that the administration is leaving Americans behind. And when Russia does take over Ukraine the morons that didn't listen and leave will say Biden left them behind when it was their own damn fault and Fox News will cry about it for a dew days until something better comes along. And its not exactly hard for Americans to leave Ukraine, all they have to do is drive west.
If Biden uses force to ward off Putin Trumpsters will call him a war monger. If he just lets Putin take over the country they will say Biden is a giant pussy.
In reality Ukraine is a lose lose. The country is not worth fighting over. But at the same time if we allow Putin to just roll in and take it over it could set the ball rolling on much bigger problems. The ideal solution would be Putin having a "heart attack" so Russia could maybe stop being an authoritarian autocracy. Previous Presidents also could have stopped being pussies and let Ukraine into NATO.

This is rich. Democrats have run public systems since the New Deal and the DOE since it was created.

They have all rotted.

Own it.
What the hell are you talking about. The Department of Education is run by the Secretary of Education. Those other public systems are also tied to Secretaries for their specific departments. Are you trying to tell me that there have been no Republican administrations since Roosevelt? Betsy Devoss was some kind of Democrat plant? If you are not happy with the way things are, it is a both party issue. And neither side is going to magically fix it once they can finally get in control. They have both been in control and they have both broke it.
