Again....you spout off without looking at anything. You failed to notice that inflation was at 11 and 9 percent the two years preceding Carter during the Republican Nixon and Ford administrations. It actually went down the first two years under Carter then went up his last two years. It continued being high the first two years of Reagan's administration. It didn't bump up to a high level again until Bush 1 in 1990 and 1991.
Yes, inflation was high under Carter for two years but it was also above the current inflation level under Nixon, Ford and Reagan as well as very elevated under Bush 1.
In the modern era since 1970 we have had inflation above 5 percent under Republicans Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Bush 1.
We have had inflation above 5 percent under Democrats Carter and Biden.
Very little inflation under Clinton, Bush 2, and Obama.

Reagan was elected President in Nov. 1980 and inaugurated in Jan. 1981. The inflation rate article I sent you was pointing out this is the highest inflation rate since 1982. Reagan was President in 1981 (10%) and 1982 (6%) when inflation was terrible.
I did make a mistake regarding 1980. Carter was President that year and inflation was 13%. Hopefully we don't have 8 years in a row of inflation like we did from 74 to 82.
