What the hell is Wickr anyway? Never heard of it.

Looks like it was encryption and security. To me the bigger part was the reminder the CIA has a funding branch where they invest in tech companies. They keep that really low-key which signals it's not good.

Iirc the very first time it ever came out they were invested was when the palantir story broke

It's a damn shame. Tallahassee, Leon County where Brandon won 63-35.

Earlier this month, Leon County fired 14 employees who did not provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 by the stated deadline, according to Tallahassee Reports.

According to Leon County Administrator Vince Long, 700 county employees did show proof of full vaccination while 30 others provided accommodations.

The Leon County School District was also among the districts to go against DeSantis's ban on mask mandates. Last week the Florida Board of Education voted unanimously in favor of sanctioning Leon County along with seven other school districts that had implemented mask mandates for students and staff.

What was our economy like before covid? Why do we need to “fundamentally change” it now?

Biden’s Team talks about this a lot. What do they mean?

I doubt if they know what it means.

Oh they know exactly what it means. It means they want socialism/communism and that's exactly what they're incrementally doing.

Lol yes I'm sure trees will stop it. Already second deadliest year in history behind only 2020. But yes....plant trees.

Funny thing is this is a gross misinterpretation of "broken windows" theory which says if you enforce the law strictly (even minor things like breaking windows and graffiti), eventually criminals get the hint and stop commiting crime.

Of course there was also a component too about immediately repairing the broken windows and removing graffiti, but the key to it working is the strict enforcement of law; which we know for a fact won't happen

This is so false and stupid. The Trump name was essentially irrelevant before he took office. Yes he hosted a crappy reality show but being president made the trump name so much more valuable. If you think he would ever do anything that doesn’t either make him more money or increase the value of his name then you’re just ignorant. He’s only about himself, always has been. That’s why he’s so desperately trying to remain relevant now and cash in again. You don’t really think he did all this because he has such strong values and wasn’t in it for the money do you? Actually you probably do. You really think that all of a sudden he viewed an opportunity as something other than a money grab for the first time in his life don’t you?
So...your link to prove this is false is...where, exactly?

Some agency spent $ on this study, and still came to a dumbass conclusion.

The trees aren’t the reason for decreased crime, it’s that people that want to live in an area with tree cover give a damn about their living conditions. They won’t be as likely to roll over if crime is rampant in their home area. In short, they give a damn.

For anyone interested, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) is about to head into "space" in about 30 minutes. He will go where hardly no one has gone before. Link below to the stream.

Shatner... what a life this guy has led... kudos to him!

His name always brings to mind my fav Star Trek joke:

Question: How are the starship Enterprise and toilet paper similar?

Answer: They both circle Uranus looking for Klingons.

Thank you... I'll be here all week...

The Fed printing money only helps the rich. Inflation is not going to hurt them. Wall Street, who controls politicians and policy in Washington, benefits from it. What we are seeing is the ultimate sell-off of this country. Total destruction of the middle class. The powers that be want as many people dependent on them as possible because they get extremely powerful and a lot more richer. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why so many people are falling for this BS. If you have saved responsibly and have a nice retirement planned, may want to re-think that because this is going to get much worse and the value of the dollar is going to plummet.

I always heard it as they both circle Uranus and capture Klingons.

Here's another one.

What did Spock find in Kirk's toilet? The captain's log.

Man I heard that joke in 5th grade. 40 years ago.

Thank you governor. That is 3.5 million the rest of the state can use. Liberal Wacko Leon County will not be the last giving money to the rest of the state. Southeast Florida will be a gold mine in fine money. It is against the law in Florida to require a mask in public schools. And the law is enforced

That was awesome to watch. It was great seeing and hearing all the emotion from Shatner after he returned. He actually got a small taste of what his character did in a sci-fi television show. He's now the oldest man to ever go into space (at least the edge of it). It's hard to believe he is 90 years old.

I'm going to repeat this until I'm blue in the face:

PULL. YOUR. KIDS. OUT. OF. SCHOOLS.

Stones retire "Brown Sugar" thanks to woke a-holes.

I really wish they had just retired as opposed to caving to political correctness. It is an affront to their long established legacy.

Okay. Hey, did you know that if you confiscated ALL the wealth of the 400 richest people in America it wouldn't pay for the infrastructure bill. And if you confiscated ALL the wealth of all 600 and change billionaires it would barely cover it.

53% of Americans don't pay taxes. The top earners in this country tho pay over 70% of all taxes. Whats your proposition? My question isn't if certain individuals wealthy individuals should pay more or how they make a lot of money and other people don't, that's not the relevance of the specifity of what im asking...im more curious should more people all together pay taxes or define exactly what Fair share is if half the country isn't paying anything at all..90% of all the taxes? Bc then it sounds like you aren't really advocating "fair share" you're advocating confiscation. Again...in a govt that hasn't proven its responsible, efficient, and advocates with a dump money on a problem.

For instance the "infrastructure" bill will pay child care, but it also will pay pre-k. Why the double payment? If you are putting them in a pre k you don't need the child care bc the school is doing the care and vice versa. Not to mention it doesn't calculate the govt spending that will need to occur to build classrooms for these ppl that will arise. Again band aids as solution thru a money dump. We are all getting poorer right now through inflation and all this other lunacy.

Whats your thoughts on the capital gains tax? With this plan every country in the world will have a lower cg tax than the US. Do you think there's no risk to investing in a new business or research? Bc this seems to advocate holding your money instead of sector growth.
We can debate the meaning of “fair” all day. I suspect we have very different opinions on it. Some would say a flat tax of whatever, say 10% on everyone and everything is “fair” as it’s the same. Others would say a graduated tax where the lowest incomes pay nothing and the highest pay 90%+ is “fair” because the affluent can give up almost everything and not effect their quality of life at all. Bezos makes $321 million a day. If you took 99% of that he’s still making over $3 mil a day. That’s way more than enough for any human compared to what the rest of us make. When most people never see a million dollars in their lives, let alone a day, it’s a hell of a lot more “fair” for one person to make $3 mil/day than 321.

And capital gains can go F themselves. Labor should make money, just having money itself shouldn’t make money. Usury is a sin.

Usury is tied to interest and interest income isn't a capital gain. Capital gain is a return on investment.

The bible also warns that the borrower will always be slave to the lender.

A few months ago I stopped personally caring about the rich getting taxed into oblivion; so I agree on that.

Way I figure, if they want to rubber stamp this stuff it's time they get what they asked for

Obviously they're not the same thing legally. I was making an appeal to ethics, morality, and the human experience. If a poor man sits on his ass and does nothing he's a bum who makes no money. If a rich man sits on his ass and does nothing he's a 'job creator' and a pillar of the community whose money makes money for him. Usury is lending money at interest, which is essentially what profiting off of investment is.

I see. To get where you want to go, I think wealth is the issue; not income. Taxing income penalizes an upward climb and keeps the top at the top while making upward mobility harder.

I do think a wealth tax would be the most fair approach, just logistically it would be tough. However if they have the ai and capacity to monitor all cash transactions aggregating over 600 annually and requesting real time banking access; maybe they can.

They'll never do it of course; because they won't dare upset the people who keep putting them in power

I changed on caring about taxing the rich also. 85% of Wall Street millionaires voted for Biden. Most every billionaire is a liberal and votes radical Democrat. So the rich are no friend of the middle class. So tax the liberals and if they try to pass it down to me, I will be very selective who I do business with. In other words no buying at WOKE Walmart.

The rich don't pay income tax anyway. They receive dividends which are taxed at the capital gain rate.

We're screwed either way. If we shop at Publix we pay twice as much as WM. So we pay the tax regardless.

he US economy added 943,000 jobs in July and the unemployment rate fell to 5.4%. Last month was also revised way up to 938,000.

KABOOM! way over estimate!

@AustinTXCat how bout you go play

Biden just can't stop winning for all you maga morons! He has almost brought back all the jobs the fatass cheeto destroyed. Soon to be the greatest economy in history!

A whole lot of conspiracy theories turn out to be true. Weird.

Yes. They avoid income taxation or inherit wealth then use wealth to create more wealth. I have no problem with them being wealthy. I do have a problem with a progressive tax system which penalizes and obstructs upward mobility; making it inherently tougher to obtain wealth. That's something Milton Friedman argued against decades ago.

The elite literally use the tax code to squash competition and stay on top of the heap.

Lol wow. A love story profile on some of the founding members of weather underground.

This is incredible and fairly concerning. That organization by it's original name intentionally stayed in the shadows since before Obama. It was easy since they control the msm.

If they're ok with having a story like this on them....who knows what that means
