N.O.B.

Oh, and happy winter break, you guys. Hope you got to sleep in this morning.

Every day's a holiday, every meal a banquet.

I spent half my morning in a hazmat suit as part of a drill that our hospital emergency department has to do with the nuclear power plant and about a dozen govt. agencies. Fun times and I basically have a job offer to go work at the nuke plant.

My Jokers finally made it into the playoffs this year and promptly treated it like a UK bowl game by having fun and not preparing. Oh well, 9 win season, post season play, second place in the toughest division, that should be worth a 10 yr contract from Mitch. I'm really disappointed that I set the wrong lineup in week 14.

For the NOB FFL CHAMPIONSHIP, My Testy Gulls will be sporting commemorative retro uniforms of Alizarin Crimson, Bright Red, Cadmium Yellow Hue, Dark Sienna, Indian Yellow, Midnight Black, Mountain Mixture, Phthalo Blue, Phthalo Green, Prussian Blue, Sap Green, Titanium White, Van Dyke Brown and Yellow Ochre.

With an inscription, “Bob Rides on the Gulls Wings” emblazoned down the pant leg.

Muhahahahaaahaaa1!!!!!!1!1!!1

Hey @Kaizer Sosay, with Antonio Brown out for the regular season (#1 pick), you may win the FFL Championship. But I CHALLENGE you to acquire a Bob Ross mug prior to Christmas...

Try eBay....

MUHAHAHAHAHHHHHHAAAAHHAA!!!!!11
Meh.

A) May win? May? Ha! I scoff at you. That ship has already sailed. It's my density...I mean...my DESTINY...to be 2017 fantastical foosball champ. Done. Deal.

B) Even a halfway decent coach/GM would have prepared for losing their #1 draft pick with an adequately stocked bench. I played 6 games without my #2 pick (Zeke) and lost my best QB (Watson) for the season in week 8. Suck it up, buttercup.

C) You got me on the happy painter mug. Color me green with envy. But I can always buy one of those later when they restock.

D) But the only chance you got at a taste of the 2017 fantastical foosball ship is if I fall on hard times a few years down the road and need to sell my championship ring on eBay to make ends meet.

There used to be a guy that posted all of his industrial league stats on here. He should try out for one of those teams.

That guy was a loser who ate totinos, iirc. Last name Scheers. Played daggon streetball and wore his stats on his socks.

And I miss him dearly, no homo. Place has never been the same. RIP, Scheerz. I know you're scorching them nuts up in heaven.

That's actually the best idea that idiot has ever had. There is a market for that sort of thing. ESPN televises HS games, streetball games, 3on3 games. I'm sure they will televise this league as well. So that TV contract is where the funds will come from.

Let's not sugar coat it. The One and Done rule is not good for the college game. It just isn't. There are a ton of kids who don't want to go to college...they wanna go straight to the pros. The NBA has a rule that you have to be 1 year removed from HS to play in the NBA. So why not make some money playing for a few months instead of going to college and making money for the school/NCAA?

The BBB league idea fits in nice to this scenario. No doubt that dumbass idiot will screw it up somehow. But...in theory...I think it is an outstanding idea. Would be good for the kids who don't wanna go to college and the college game would benefit as well. A little less talent...but the game itself overall would be better off.

The problem with the BBB-League would be hiring coaches who will have the gravitas to make these AAU All-Star Dickheads play defense.

I think it’s a horrible idea.

GFY.

Go Gulls. Fly.

I may be wrong, but I thought the kids could go straight to the G-league? There was also some guy that tried to setup a league in Las Vegas. Never heard more about it.

But at $3k-$10k/mo I think there would be plenty of guys willing to play. Maybe not very good and I don't see how it would generate revenue. As an investor, I'm out.

Damn. Pour out some eggnog for the lost ones.

Kooky/somebody, I gotta question about BACON. It’s pretty important. I fried up 12 slices, crumbled it up, and left it out in a bag overnight. Is that bad? I asked the internet if cooked bacon goes bad, and it said YES, but I don’t believe that personally. Mind you, I am immune to listeria and probably a host of food borne illnessses, but if I wanted to serve a dish with this potentially tainted bacon to my sweet sweet grandmother...would she die?
