UL fan should never be allowed to blame the refs even if there was a picture of money exchanging hands. UL hacks and grabs more than any other NCAA team and Pitino has admitted that he likes daring officials to call it.

The Pan Am squad didn't have Harkless or Balkman, 2 NBA guys that played last night. I'm not sure who else did or didn't play a couple weeks ago, but it was hardly the same team.

Playing mid-summer games against older, sometimes better competition isn't an easy go for a college team. Was it last year UK lost to the Dominican squad? These games are good in the long run for a team, but it's hard to really say what the outcomes mean. Win them all or lose them all, it's ridiculous to get too up or down about anything right now.

As a ul fan I wouldn't get my hopes up ever.

Kinda. I became a "non-working member". 30 years was enough. Being a section leader with too few people to efficiently work football was getting to me. I figured that I had driven 190,000 miles in that 30 years, and when Dad could no longer be in it, I sort of lost my incentive. I am going to watch the grandsons play football on Saturdays, and play a little more golf. I will still attend meetings, go on a couple of road game trips, and show up at Rupp 4-5 times a year. I'll still be around some.
