Huh?

Players generally get better as they get older. That's all I said. Sorry you don't understand that. Are there any players in the NBA that aren't better now than they were as college freshman?

Nothing else you are rambling about was mentioned by me.

Hmm. No shit, players get better as they get older. Writing this down for future reference.

The rest of my rambling is valid

- Lebron is a tough situation. He’ll never accept a GM and coach saying this is what we need from you from what we see and we’ll build around that.

SVG and Reggie said it over and over in that 2nd half that Lebron needs to go to the post and go to work, but he barely went inside the 3pt line.

Because he won’t be the type of player to accept that role what he contributes doesn’t matter as it will be on average to good teams.

- Calipari doesn’t have to be what he once was to win. No matter what though he has to have a strong lead guard that can shoot, and he has to have an athletic shot blocking big.

Without those 2 pieces in place he lost in how to get kids to play his system.

We have both this year and I’ll keep my hopes up with 7 players or 12, that doesn’t matter to me, my team is in the court.

- The Portal was created because coaches had the freedom to pick up and jump ship whenever a better job came along.

By granting kids the same freedom it’s created chaos.

The simple fix is 1 transfer without sitting out a year. After your 1 transfer you sit and lose eligibility years no matter what.

- I’ve consistently been in the 260’s now for a few weeks. Good lord this is hard! Shooting for 250’s and assume if it happens my feeling will be to just die anyway because that seems to not be living(eating) anyway.

- This housing market is insane. Reached out to my realtor about the idea of selling. They visited the house, which is when the wife found out and was fuming, and said they have 3 buyers in our range no problems.

However, there is nothing for sale that fits us…….down to 5BR necessary…….and we could be homeless if we decide to sell.

Homeless, lol, ugh!

After essentially 6 months of being lazy in 2022, I was 235 on Feb 13th. 211 currently. My triglycerides went from 253 to 155 during this time frame. I will just say this...WW works. It's not a diet, but a lifestyle change. Combined w/ a regular gym routine, it was not that difficult. 6 more to go to reach my goal weight. Good luck.

LeBron does need to let the offense work through him, he can’t be the offense completely himself anymore. He’s still one of the best players in the league he just can’t go 4 quarters strong anymore like when he was at Cleveland and said fine I’ll do it myself.

That being said, their best offense was him driving to the basket like he always does and gets fouled or scored or both.

Lebron put up 40-10-9 on 15-25 shooting and 4-7 from 3. And people are on here saying he needs to take a lesser role? What in the hell is the matter with you?

Stats be damned, where did it get him? Correct me if I’m wrong he had 30 at half, 7 in the 3rd, and 3 in the 4th?
If he wants to fight for one last title, then yes he needs to let someone else who can see his flaws build a team around him so he isn’t the main guy that is exhausted by the 3rd quarter and can’t make it past the 3pt line.

If he just wants to play and be a playoff contender that makes it to the 1st or 2nd round for his last year or two then he can hold on to his level now being the first option for his team and that’s what he’ll get, a first or second round exit.

What is WW?

Basically eating meat and veggies. No rice, pasta, bread or deserts. That is absolutely killing me right now after 2 weeks of no Mexican, Chinese, sushi, or any deserts after any meal.

I’ve upped my exercise as I’m pushing my kids to lift weights so that’s easy, I was always a gym rat until 13 years ago when we had our first son.

Weight Watchers...great program. Gotta be careful on the red meat, and up your fruit intake. Portion control is essential. And there are breads you can eat depending on calories. Watch the sugar content of everything.

Great weekend. Worked out. Went to the park after working out. Got hungry from working out and had a nice dinner. Was tired afterwards from the workout, so got in bed early so I could workout the following morning and get a good workout in, then have a nice Sunday w/ the fam after working out, but was pretty exhausted b/c of the workout, but ended up getting a nice 2nd workout before hitting the sauna post-workout.

Stay tuned!

For BBdk and Richie.... to lick my MFing nuts. I'll talk about whatever I like. It's not like I'm uploading reels of myself in the gym.

-Been on a tear this year:
*Last week pressed 225x20. Combine numbers. 😉
*Weight down 10lbs from this point last year so I'm starting at my typical low point toward summer fighting weight.
*Reigning the diet in is just so key. The little snacks, especially with kids food always being around, is really damn difficult. Hand full of healthy cashews. Couple chicken nuggets. Two spoonfuls of mac n cheese and boom you've added 1500Cal to your day. I could put 12-13 hours in per week and still gain weight. Find a handful of meals you enjoy, and put them on repeat to be about the same calorie count.
*Protein pegged and 250g per day and about 2200-2400 calories. Currently minimal non-fruit/veggie carbs(I'll add those in later).
*Still have too many drinks per week.
*Just getting into nice little ride szn. New whip is ridiculous. Like to add power meters but not sure why I need them.
*Sauna daily.

Do the points in the 4th count more than the ones in the 1st? I guess Bron-Bron should have scored 60.

Of course not, but if you’re the one pouring in buckets and then you can’t anymore in the 4th, you have to have someone to step up.

If you watched the game, and listened to smarter people than me explain how fatigue was getting the best of Lebron where he wouldn’t go in the post even to offset their defense and kick out to open guys then you’d understand how it negatively impacted the lakers chances.

The point is can he be that guy, absolutely the ability is there. Can he do over the course of the season and carry a team in the playoffs to the finals, clearly not!

It’s not a knock on him due to his age, hell I have nothing but respect for what he did this offseason when all three teams he faced had the same strategy to run pace at the old guy so he was worn down in the 4th quarters.

The guy was gassed and absolutely gave it everything he had. But that isn’t the same as it was even 3-4 years ago.

So like I said a better team has to be built around him and he has to allow his role to change to extend his season farther into the playoffs, or go home in April/May.

Anth, can you recommend any information re healthful pooping techniques or methodologies? I haven’t achieved complete elimination since Sunday morning. TIA

Joey, the Tickle Pickle is indeed going gangbusters. The energy Inverness has long awaited. I will miss my standard Order of extra hot/extra wet traditional Buffalo ex bleu cheese from 915, but I think this place will be good for this much maligned neighborhood. Smitty’s can only do so much. Let’s do plan on a beer there, in June. I will look you up on the PVA and knock on your door.

UCL, did you allude last week to quitting your position? If so, congratulations. I wish you the best in your next opportunity, or, if you are in transition, I’m sure your network will connect with you re potential next steps. I myself might be quietly quitting. I was sitting there at 10:30 today and just thought, this sucks. So I just left. Started out at Lowe’s and then let the winds take me. Haven’t been back. I mean, who cares?

Shit day…Cure: Deck, Cigar, high proof juice… New Master Sounds on Sonos. Jams.

Need new flags as my UK assortment is faded.

Down 45. Arms getting epic. Looking into some Duke Reilly ink. Octopus? Nautical scrimshaw vibe line work.

Might be playing Shinnecock in 3 weeks. Need to get to the range. Say a prayer for me.

My son is finally getting a fuggin job. Thank goodness. Bitch doesn’t sleep. Keeps me up as I drag my ass out of bed at 4:40 for my routine.

Summer trip to Cape May being planned. Restaurants being booked. Recipes tested. Unleashing Cippino plus lasagnas, clams casino tweaks.

One of my architecture classmates unexpectedly passed away last week. Hit home. Gonna miss that guy.

Bourbon boom dying? Just snagged a Weller FP and an Old Carter at retail. Hmm.

My dog and little boy keep me young.

Maybe in NY, but no where else is the bourbon boom dying.

It’s transitioned to how many ways from Sunday can you flavor your brown water.

Boats group sent me my first Bowman bottle today and I forgot it on my desk at work. Hope it’s still there tomorrow. Extremely excited to try their stuff as it’s actually their’s.

Also extremely excited about my first 450 new make barrels. I’ll have my own product in 3 years, consistently, year after year!

That’s silly, but bourbon season is ova!

Margaritas and Bud Light Orange season is upon us.

But come fall if you don’t see Old Fo Rye, Old Fo 1920(GYERO bourbon of choice I’d think), Bookers, Knob Creek, Russell’s or some sort of 4R store pick then change your store!

Lebron said he is better than 90-95% of the players in the league....does this come w/ a stipulation that only means half the game, never the 4th qtr, etc?

Lebron's statement erases your entire post along w/ any other excuses that follow.

So 90-95% sounds great, but realistically that’s him admitting there are 18-36 better players than him.

I’d say that is fair, although I’d still have a tough time knocking him out of the top 10-15 players in the league heading into next year.

I’m not giving excuses for anything other than a teams GM has to take control over LeBron at this point. Basically.

Re bourbon, it’s such a bitch finding interesting stuff at a halfway decent price, if you’re not willing to put in any effort and you’re just pulling from the shelf (my case.) WT101 and Rare Breed have been getting me through. Also OGD 114.

I refuse to participate in any of that other nonsense.
That's exactly my rotation. I'll slip in an OGD bonded or OF 1920 on occasion to mix it up.
