I can't speak for all DMVs, but if you want that long-ass line to move in Jessamine County, show up about 30 minutes before close. The mere thought of anyone staying 1 minute past time to go home must be the worst thing in the world. You've never seen a DMV line move so f#cking fast.
In my experience, Jessamine County clerks have been fantastic during COVID. Fayette County any time is like dealing with Soviet bureaucrats. I have no idea how anyone lives in that nutcase county.

The worst part of the Fayette County DMV experience is not the wait. It’s the moment you actually get into the way-too-small room and everyone is talking all at once and stamping papers and printing on dot matrix printers (that might have updated since the last time I went), and the morons who did not bring any paperwork whatsoever and are calling or trying to figure out how to tell Safe Auto or The General how to fax it to them. It’s worse that that run-on sentence I just typed. I cannot imagine trying to work in that hell hole. There has to be an insane amount of turnover.

Because it’s better than Nicholasville?
You lived in New Orleans during COVID and a hurricane. Your judgment on where to live is meaningless.

I was specifically referring to local government, in which case Jessamine Co. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fayette Co. The smart play is to live in Jessamine County and freeload off Lexington -- which is exactly what I do. Lower taxes, better police and government, no woke bullshit, and fifteen minutes away from the good parts of Lexington.

And our sheriff likes to party!

I guarantee you CJ is not "far superior" to allen. 1, I've seen his stat lines. 2, he's white. 3, Dontaie Allen is way better than anybody will give him credit for. That's a gd fact. We had one player on the entire squad capable of beating a guy off the dribble, driving down the middle of the lane, and dunking the basketball. That guy was Dontaie, a sneaky 6'6" assassin from Falmouth, KY.

Give me a damn break. That honky is career 8ppg player from Iowa. Sure, a good player, one we needed badly because Cal won't play Dontaie, but he ain't far superior to shit.

Thanks for your input Deshawn, but I have never witnessed your brother going down the lane and dunking on shit. Maybe you was watching his pickup games at the local Y or at Falmouth high school gym, but at UK, he has been solely camped out at the 3 pt. line launching 3's. Please send me video of these posters he has done, would love to change my opinion.

I really like this team and think we’re going to end up damn good. Early analytics loving everything Oscar brings on both ends, and hating all our long 2s. Also showing a strong halfcourt D.

This is amazing:

Even more stunning is Tshiebwe’s impact on defense. When he’s in the game, opponents hit 46% of their twos, including 59% at the rim. But when he sits, opponents can’t miss! Their 2pt FG% is a staggering 86%, including 89% at the rim!

Tf is infuriating about nicholasville? The worst parts about nicholasville road are in Lexington. Nicholasville is what it is. A modern small town being consumed by chain restaurants and tire discounters, just like every other small-midsize town in Kentucky. We just don’t lie to ourselves about being some uppity wanna-be Mayberry like Versailles.

For that reason, and that reason only, how is Will Wade not considered for more jobs!

Don’t like what I’m doing NCAA? F off, SMD, let’s pray!

This is a perfect allegory for society.

Most people are largely unprepared for even the most basic tasks/challenges that life presents them.

Jessamine Co is named after a settler's daughter that committed suicide. Pretty much sums that shithole up.

My favorite part of Jessamine County is the stretch of Tates Creek road that serves as the Jessamine/Fayette border. On the left side you have rolling hillsides, galloping horses, sprawling farms, multi million dollar homes, and on the right side you have a couple shady gas stations and trailer parks.

why don’t you walk out your front door and blow one of the homeless people that live in your street, 80. Thx
You need to stop projecting your fantasies at me. Okay bub.

We don't have many homeless here on the street either. We have panhandling bums from places like Nicholasville.

Do always get a kick out of the Versailles/Woodford contingent and their self perceived status. All 9,000 of them lol.

Beautiful country, for sure.

But for everyone else, Versailles is where you pee or grab McDonald’s in an emergency, or get beer/ice at Thornton’s if you were running behind on the way to Lexington.

It’s not Versailles (FR). Trust there are luxurious farms and lands outside of Waddy & Peytona, too.

*the first person to tell me Woodford Co has 26K people overall gets a prize.

Wish we had that sort if option here, but our county clerk is terrible. Same guy, preceeded by his father has been in that position for several decades. They stayed shut down as long as they could during covid, then the CC bitched incessantly when they had to open back up.

If course I'm transferring an old jonboat with no hull ID and the listed owner has been dead for over a decade. Today was my 6th unsuccessful trip to that hellhole on this endeavor.
I had the same problem with a 2 man boat a few years ago. Tried everything but dead is dead according to the local BMV. Went 15 miles away to a small county BMV and had a sticker and issued numbers in 10 minutes. They couldn’t believe I was having any problems getting it done.

Entirely too much pretentiousness on here to even consider Nich/Jess worthy of having its air inhaled by their self righteous lungs, when, in fact, they are completely clueless about the town.
