Don’t see how that’s relevant to what I was saying but we also fought basically guerilla warfare as much as possible and weren’t stupid enough (most of the time) to lineup and get mowed down by the greatest military on earth at the time.Counterpoint: The deadliest battle of the Revolutionary War saw about 1,500 men killed.
We also didn’t really have a standing army so it was farmers, blacksmiths and teachers* that had little if any training going against seasoned, paid soldiers. Only had a population of 2.5 million with half a million being slaves, versus 8+ million.
*Cant imagine what Kolb would say about teachers having to fight in a war, oh wait he already thinks they are.
