Ugh. I really need to quit binge drinking on Friday nights.

In all seriousness, was having lunch with some of the younger guys in my office yesterday. Age 25-27, probably. On the subject of ass eating, according to one of them, “all the girls expect it.” I pondered that for the rest of my day. These kids these days are different.

Congrats, Wade. Most unlikely pitcher I could think of to do that.

I’m heading to Pendleton County to drink some beer and throw the baseball around. Go Cats.

-Apparently got hammered at the local catholic school fundraiser turned patio gathering last night. Woke up with that still intoxicated feeling. No problem, other than I had an 8:30 interview scheduled.

-Miley looks like the guy on the couch from Half Baked.

  • All other TBall (dad pitch) coaches bailed. I’m now defacto coach. My team. You think you show up got the first time in a month and take over? FOH, pops. Wyatt and Logan are playing the outfield. Too bad. Rain game today, I’m saturated but satisfied. Kids are squaring it up and hitting.
  • Cuban Pernil Roast Mojo Pork ala Kenji on Egg. Peruvian Aji Verde sawse. Muduro beans, rice, fried plantains... jumbo grilled GC Shrimp ala Steven Raichlin. Mozz/Tom/Basil - cousin and his fam comin in hot today.
  • Bar opening ceremonies. Ms PAC Man w/412 games installed. Sinistar’s voice clips tho 😿.
  • So glad Joel and Barbee are gone. New vibes for sure.
  • Bourbons are flowing tonight folks. No hold barred. No drunk posting - promise.
  • They have a live stream of my big guy’s track meet. Thanks👎🏻🤌🏻🖕🏻.
  • Contractors have no memory and less soul. Dude shows up yesterday, picks up ladders and boogies nary a word. ****.
  • Be good to one another

I could see CPS coming out for a "welfare check" on drunk kid. Good thing dude wasn't snorting coke and left remains laying around.

My nephew was born very soft and timid. He began to grow out of it around age 3 or 4. He even learned to enjoy sports. A couple days ago, he drove in the game-tying and game-winning runs in his little league game in Versailles. The joy on his face is indescribable. See my pics on Facebook. Eli Boone Watts.

Is that a Henley? Damn, that sucks for him.

Congrats on the butt stuff Wynn.

Didn’t see the Palumbo’s at Ruby’s last night but looks like they were there.

Yesterday was fun for boat dad. Two barrel picks. Our ECBP was a monster. 10 yr, 140 proof...can’t wait to get it bottled. Our Heaven Hill guide was super nice and fun. Didn’t suck either we were able to get in on big release of Old fitz16, Parkers, ECBP, and an EC toasted.

Headed over to Bardstown bourbon company. Good lord the vintage room there is a place I wouldn’t mind being trapped in. Unreal collection, bourbon porn essentially. Lunch was very good. I recommend the fried chicken sandwich and Brussels. Did a tasting of their “future” single barrels. Interesting concept. Pick them young and then can continue to taste and age over several years. They had a “super wheat” that was 39% wheat. Tasted great for only being 3 yr old. Got to handfill a bottle of their new XO release too.

Guys I was with brought a prefire Heaven Hill and a dusty Old Taylor. That was a treat.

No mention of lemon butter was made by anyone, all day, anywhere.

Cashed in a bunch of points with the wife, will be babysitting most the rest of the weekend. Worth it.

Cheers Wildcat friends.

*FYI, Boat...my wife wasn't a fan of me saying I was babysitting when watching my own kid. Quickly changed my wording to, "hanging out."

*Chuck roast and short ribs on the smoker. 4 hours in and looking great.

*I'm glad I'm not in the dating game. Don't think I'd be an ass-eater. I don't even do buffets.

*Mothers day is tough. I do my best to dristract myself by concentrating on the kids showing my wife their appreciation and making her day as special as possible. What I wouldn't give for 1 more with mom.

*Son of Sam: I'm a sucker for that type of documentary. It would appear there is a lot more to the story than the NYPD narrative.

*Cyber attack shooting up gas prices. Assholes.

*My son and his damn dogecoin. We gave him $400 to start investing around a month ago and he immediately bought 970 shares @.32. I told him he was nuts based on analyst predictions. His logic was rock solid..Elon Musk liked it and "the internet" said they wanted to get it to $1 on 4/20. How could I have missed that.

The rest of "his" money went to microshares of Tesla and Nvidia.

Pretty impressed he knows how to execute limit orders at 15.

I struggle with Mother’s Day. Mom was as stubborn as they come and wouldn’t accept much other than a meal and time with her grandchildren.

My wife, well, I got all the kids birthstones and easy target gifts I can think of. She doesn’t help by asking for anything and when asked what she’d like for a meal she only responds..........um what do you mean? Are you wanting to cook or eat out? Are we inviting people over or just us? Do you care if it’s expensive or are we being easy? How much notice do you need?

To which it takes everything in me to keep a straight face in hopes not to respond in a way that she has a meltdown, on Mother’s Day!

In other news, the hillbilly who lives next to us at our place on Kincaid came home from the grocery store, and was telling me about this big, feral white cat he saw at the top of the hill. To which I gave a perfunctory, huh? No shit? And forgot about it.

Then a while later he came walking back out of his house with this giant metal trap, and tells me that he’s going to the top of the hill to catch this wildcat, he’s going to tame it and turn it into an agreeable beast, to live in his home. Seems like a good plan, I guess?

It was mostly done before the 4th child.

The tattoo parlor is so backed up from stimulus spending idiots that I’m booked for July 5 to finish. Might take 2 sessions.

I’d have shown you where it is on the barrel pick had you remembered.

A CatPaw reveal would work just as well. If you need any help uploading a pic just let us know.

That’s a low blow.

It takes rational "regulars" like you to keep the business afloat. Here's to you, Krazy rascal ;)

I literally have 1 tattoo, it just so happens to have taken 3 sessions to get where it is, and most likely 2 more to finish.

It happens when you are 6’5 and have a full back tattoo.

When does Mask reverse-shaming begin? Lmao

I played in a golf tournament today in Shelbyville, which is 20 minutes outside of Louisville...but also basically Louisville and exploding with new residents.

On the way, I stopped at a Simpsonville BP to get Skins money & a Gatorade, one of those bare bones Patel stations. Put my mask on while thinking it was probably silly -- and, of course it was. No patron or employee had a mask.

-Arrive at Weissinger Hills Golf Club, checked in at bag drop, and wanted to go inside for a glove and 5 Miller Lites, my 18 hole standard when trying to actually compete.

That same sign you see on EVERY door was present, and I'm a guest, so I put a mask on b/c I'm just a respectful dude.

...60+ year old bartender/snack attendant didn't have a mask, nor did any of the ProShop staff. Felt like a loser.

-On the way out of town, I needed a few things, and there is one of those MEGA Huck's Stations right outside Club Entrance. Nice place, 30 pumps, full kitchen, and a full sized White Castle inside/connected to the building.

Definitely need my mask here. b/c it's not a shady place and still has that "Sign" on the door........FALSE.

At least 25 people inside between the Convenience side + Restaurant....and I'm the only dude (Including Employees) that had a mask on. Felt so much like a loser, I pulled it down under my chin while checking out and made a side comment that "lol this mask stuff is bullshit", which i truly believe, but would never risk my life or reputation on.

-So, despite being made to feel like a loser covid bro all day, I feel pretty damn good about things. Shelbyville is FARRR from "out in the state", where I realize this is, and has been, normal

(my club quit covid in November, btw #Fairdale)

Weissinger in decent condition?

Outstanding. Greens slick, pins silly. Ball down everywhere, rough WAYYY up. It was near perfection, especially if you factor in it’s limited budget. Was very impressive- that’s a nice place and now lined with baller homes throughout. Don’t remember that being the case last time.

Shot 74 and finished T8. Zero $$$ or skins.

Only played once 15-20 years ago - place is sneaky, at least with today’s setup.

Definitely a better test than the scorecard would indicate. It sets up well for a short knocker like me, but I couldn’t hit the fairway today to be able to attack. Hit TWO (2)

*scoring tent controversy with a contender trying to argue that his double cross tee shot (OVER THE ROAD) wasn’t OB Bc it wasn’t explicitly marked. Like... Outside the property over the main road. Obviously OB.

He played 2 balls hoping for a ruling and was raising hell at the non-marking. Left before the resolution, but I hope he was told to go die in a fire
