8th graders decided they needed to initiate us our first year at Transy camp which involved having someone lay on a mattress in the floor then a couple of them would use another mattress and jump on top of you sandwiching you between the mattresses. First guy had his head sticking out from the top and they jump on top of him -> boom hits head in tile floor gets a concussion, initiations were then over for the week, just glad I wasn't first.

I can get a gym. As long as you fools aren't afraid to come down to Portland. Don't worry, if people know you're with me, you'll be safe.

Dayummmmm, Michael Jackson!

Boss at the bank must be looking over your shoulder or something.

-- The western part of South Dakota is just beautiful. I know it's not a Hilton Head or Destin-esque vacation, but we had a thoroughly enjoyable week. Badlands, Black Hills, Devil's Tower, Wyoming, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood all very cool sites. Even won a bit of money at the casino hotel we stayed at in Deadwood. 49 states visited with Alaska to go.

-- Twins-A's game last night. Nice park. Terribly muggy last night. Drank a lot. Twins with 4 homers late to get the win.

-- Maxey is going to be awesome, and a lot of people are looking forward to the 2nd year jump of Hagans, but I am really interested to see Quickley's progression. If he makes a significant jump and becomes another dependable scorer, our back court will be the best in the country.

-- I missed you guys. Except Llama. He's always on vacation.

What are your Top 5 states? Also- how do you plan to take Alaska- cruise?

- Much respect for Coach Maybrey. Coming to PRP/Fern Creek before Christmas for a little tourney action. I’ll let y’all know the details in case any of y’all want to see my chops up close.

- And I’ll be 43 next Saturday. There has not been any evidence to the contrary in all of my years posting here that I would still run anyone in this thread in pickup ball. Y’all played with a few black folks one time? L-O-L!!!!!!

**** Afro-German Santa and NW50 don’t post here any more. And I could hang with AGS . . . I think.

-Today was my last day at work and every shareholder made it a point to reach out and let me know that I could come back whenever I wanted and make up whatever job I wanted to do (if I was bored with being the best high-rise architect in the region for them)... Is that good???

-My company-wide Resignation Announcement email included a photoshopped movie poster that capture the excitement of my new position. Bad Boy Office Life til the end, I guess.

-They threw a “Resignation Commiseration Sad Hour ” send off for me at brewery. A recent grad coworker had been keeping notes on every movie, show, and video I suggested he watch for over a year (without me knowing). He had about four pages and would shout one out whenever there was a quiet moment. Some of them really captured my subtle, half-joking, condemnation and contempt with his generation: “One time, Joe asked me if I had ever seen “Jeopardy!” (List available upon request.)

-I can’t wear Jordan’s and jeans to work anymore, so it looks like I’ll be making a pilgrimage to the BB Outlet for a “chino reset.”

-I’ll be golfing all next week if anybody needs me.

-Should be noted that I’ve been entertaining the notion of becoming the second Porsche guy in GYERO as of late. AAAYYYEEE!

Nice. Heading there this September for a couple days. Then to Yellowstone via the Beartooth Highway before heading up to Glacier.

I’m sure I’m late to the party and you guys have been aware of this for years but there was some random ass semi-truck from Georgia with peaches by our house that my wife wanted to go to after work and now I have 25 lbs of GD peaches sitting on my dining room waiting to become ripe WTF

If Joey is thinking of getting a Porsche I can’t even imagine what features he’s thinking of getting in his future bidet purchase.

PTO payout from the old job + Signing bonus from the new job x Amazon Prime Day = All lights in my house are controlled by my voice now. - I know that.

I can’t believe I used to be a “switch flicker.” Man.

-Poor Wout Va Aert, having a helluva first tour, catches a barrier during the ITT, and rips his leg open. Classified as a "flesh wound." Shout out to Alaphillipe, he's either on the sauce or went way over to beat Thomas today.
Do you remember the 2013 Cyclocross World Championship in Louisville. The Junior race was P1. Mathieu Van der Poel - P3 Wout Van Aert. And Sven Nys the Goat of Mens CX & Marienne Vos the Goat of Womens Cycling racer won the Elite races. Coolest Sporting event in this state all your flip flop wearing, bald, golf sucking people did not see. Most underrated sports day in Kentucky history.

MVDP is amazing. His performance in Amstel Gold is the craziest thing I've ever seen.

Didn't realize they were both there.

I'd still give the Ryder Cup or Derby a nod over the CXWC.

MVDPs legend started in 2013 CX World Champs in Kentucky. Still the only time that event has happened outside of Europe. A little history for golf wankers.

Teunissen also there taking the U23s in front of Van Aert. Really strange after his win last week that a picture of him at a Prime Lounge (RIP) foam party popped up on my twitter feed.
