I've said it 100 times on here, but Kentucky is basically a state run on sin (weed, tobacco, bourbon, horsey gambling). Why we don't embrace this and get paid son is beyond me. Could legal gambling and marijuana really make things worse?Well, when you have the luxury of abundant resources, an annual budget surplus and a top notch educational system, you can afford to pander to the closet-drinking Baptists and not sell out to gambling (besides horse racing of course) and weed (as opposed to bourbon of course, Elijah Craig willing).
I don't care what Anth says, he's not the boss of me... (and this is too unreal not to share)
It's not minor leaguers and unknowns who aren't hitting for the Reds... it's proven guys who have never hit this poorly before.

It is amazing, and damn near impossible, for that many players to be in this bad of a slump at the same time. The majority aren't just a little beneath their career averages, there are 6 players at least 77 points below their norm.
The pitching has exceeded expectations even without Wood pitching yet, but it is being wasted because they can't hit. They are lucky to be 9-14.
I think it's more about JESUS than partisanship tbh. Those two issues should be completely nonpartisan. F this stupid state.

My 7yo is batting .750, and leads his team in runs scored first year of coach pitch, for those of you wondering how he’s doing.
9yo is somewhere in the .500 range in his first year of kid pitch. Makes his pitching debut this weekend. Lefty with a lot of swag, will keep everyone posted.
