I'm getting great seats at Anth's NEW Rupp when Rick comes back to be honored. TS.

-Arch Rivals for Sega is one of my all time favorite video games. Easily the most satisfying. I don't play video games anymore but imagine the ability to land haymakers on opponents at anytime would be a nice option on NBA2K19 or whatever.
Our seats aren't changing.

Another Sega game in that style was Mutant League Football. Zombie and Skeleton players, the ability to literally tackle your opponent so hard they explode into pieces, and my favorite was the ability to bribe the ref once a game and get penalties called against your opponent until they choose a play that would murder the ref.

A lot of my feelings towards officiating probably have their roots in that game being played during my formative years.

That game was to football what Skitchin' was to rollerblading, imo.

Tonight’s Jeopardy:

* the very first time someone other than Robot James got one right, he immediately picked a $200 clue. Idiot.
* you could audibly hear the other contestants multiple times hammering away at their buzzers in futility as they rang in late

In addition to knowing all the answers, he also crushes the gamesmanship.

As a team, the Reds are hitting .201/.271.

But hey, hopefully they can mow down the Braves and get one back in the standings tonight!

- Big shot by Dame, but his wave left a lot to be desired. The finger spread, Pac-Man style “chomp” with no wrist rotation is a bit feminine and screams single mom. Personally, I would have chosen the classic one up and one down wrister, fingers at normal separation to match the “cold blooded” tone he tried to convey with his poses afterward. I speak from a position of knowledge.

- Said it before and I’ll say it again. I hope Rick Pitino never steps foot in this state again, and if he does, I don’t want to hear about it. He has always carried himself like he’s above all of us low-bred hilljacks and that’s a personality trait that doesn’t mesh well with me and never will. Some of you must be truly masochistic to welcome that egomaniacal narcissist back in Rupp.

Hall of Fame Coach Rick Pitino gave UK fans the gift that will keep on giving for the rest of our lives, i.e., bringing humiliating shame and unprecedented punishment to UL.

And on top of all that, he had the decency to lose to UK almost every damn year, and sometimes twice in the same season.

Bravo Pitino, indeed.

His strategy only works since he knows the answer(s).

Anybody else following his strategy would be at -10,000 with the quickness.

Was laughing at our lineup yesterday.

.171
.188
.203
.229

^ Top of the order.

The Rick Pitino we knew and loved died and went to hell the minute he accepted the UofL job. He is irredeemable. I won’t accept argument otherwise.

I mean, kind of like the Darth Vader arc...maybe after he’s burned he can assimilate into the ether.

* Tucker Barnhart is hitting .231. Only one starter for the Reds has a higher batting average. That's famed slugger Jose Iglesias, of course. Seriously, they are terrible.

Sweet. So, by the end of the year, Southern IN will have a brand new Vegas-style land based Casino & Sportsbook just across the river, and Kentucky will be sitting around holding it's dick once again.

Unreal. As small minded as it may seem, I'm pretty close to becoming a dual-issue voter on a state level, as it pertains to Marijuana & Wagering in our poor ass backwards hypocritical state.

Well, when you have the luxury of abundant resources, an annual budget surplus and a top notch educational system, you can afford to pander to the closet-drinking Baptists and not sell out to gambling (besides horse racing of course) and weed (as opposed to bourbon of course, Elijah Craig willing).

Serious question: which party is actually promoting expanded gaming and legalized weed, and which party is holding it back?

It’s not really a red/blue straight party line discussion in Kentucky, is it?

(note: in GYERO, it’s 99-to-1, all of us vs Wayne Dumbassgan)
