Those Bama commits are the size of houses and he gets up in them quick and mean. For a kid that looks and sounds like a member of Beta Club he's nasty.

This will be the last fng time I book reservations for any group with more than 2 hens. About tell everyone on this email chain to go kiss the wind.

7:00 DOES NOT WORK. WE CAN NOT MAKE IT BY THEN.

NO. 7:30 IS NOT DOABLE. WE PROMISED MARY WE'D STOP BY NO LATER THAN 8:45.

WHAT ABOUT THIS HEN & THAT HEN ?!1 ARE THEY INVITED? I COPIED THEM ON HERE. THEY CAN MAKE 8:35.

Touch all of you. I'll be at the restaurant at 7:00, even if it's by myself.

Just received a text from a lurker that's with (or was with) PTI(pti) that says he had severe swamp ass while driving (aka, sitting in the shade), and sweat pouring off his neck and his back drenched as well when he got out of his '92 Camry, which I assume doesn't have AC.

...when this person pointed this startling event out to him he determined he must have sat in something wet, and this happened twice on the same day. Sounds like awful luck to me.

[laughing] What a dbag.

Heading north to Maine to go to the beach for the weekend. Yes. Maine. Farther North.

Let the wife make plans bc my schedule has been hell, assuming she'd book something on the Cape. Oh well. Hoping I don't run into any White Walkers.

- 2 of wife's friends have had kids/preggo in last 3-4 months. Pressure mounting. Trying to hold strong until we move south.

- We boarded our dog at the daycare where the goring occurred, because we're clearly terrible people.

- I sweat. A lot. All year. Resting HR is only 50 (not a freak of nature like MCF in the 30s) so I guess I'm just fat and don't know it. Pavement time.

Maine is pretty awesome. Especially Bar Harbor/Acadia. Kennebunkport, Camden...it's all great to be honest. Love the place.

Would like to get up to Maine. Lobbying our friends to get back to the Cape next fall. Best time of year and place in America that I've seen to date. Can't beat it.

Nearly booked Maine for our vacation instead of charleston/isle of palms. Next time, perhaps.

*86-91 and sunny all week. Sweated a little bit, even in the shade. Resting heart rate of 64.

Do feel like a slob though. Only thing I did that resembled exercise this week was riding a tandem bike with my daughter. Ate my weight in peel and eat shrimp, pizza, and other GMO/gluten-laden things.

Back at it tomorrow.

*congrats Jaimanthony. George is a handsome boy.

Im trying to talk the wife into one more kid before we get too old.

*Century is right...you are friends with who the parents of your kids' friends are. Amazingly, our closest 6 couples friends have kids within six months of each of our two. It's really uncanny.

#amazingparentstory

*not sure there's anyone I enjoy watching more than Federer. When he's on, man, it's like watching art in motion. Hard to believe he's playing some Of his best tennis at almost 34 years of age.

*Chad, how is the ASG going to affect your work and social life outlook over the next week? Have you thought about just maybe staying away from downtown the next few days altogether? Haven't seen any mentions.

*catch me up on basketball recruiting in five or less sentences. I haven't been near the twitter machine and barely gotten on here.

There is a thread on Raftards that says Jared Lorenzon is starting a tshirt company. Good for him.

But it also says that word on the street is that he is over 5 bills now.

Jared Lorenzon has a 50/50 shot of eventually being bedridden due to fatness. Sad, but seems like he's well on his way.

Somebody needs to do an intervention with him before it is too late. He could be back down to 300 in a year if he wanted to.

- I guess Rivals got around to re-permabanning names. RiP tommyg4uk, again.

- Re: Parents become friends of their kid's friends parents...

Only time I ever saw my dad (a lot of you have met him, very mild mannered guy) really lose his shit on someone was on my little brother's best friend's dad in 1993/94...

Him and my dad never got along, but my dad tried to make peace by saying one night:

"Listen Donald, I know we don't care for each other, but we should try to get along for our kids' sake."

Donald: "Maybe I would, if you weren't a son of a bitch."

My dad, who isn't a big guy, picked him up and physically carried him off our yard, then threw him into the neighbor's yard. He tried to get up several times and my dad kept pushing him on his ass. Basically saying if he ever came to our house again, he would f*** him up.

My brother, mom, and Donald's kid had no idea this happened, I only saw it because I was in my treehouse and dad had no idea I was up there.

The kid and my brother remained friends for a couple years, but Donald never ventured to the porch to get his kid again.

[sick]

I don't have anyone on ignore because half of the joy of this place is watching the rednecks be red, the fats be fat, the coloreds have pigment, etc..but chief is really coming close.

(insert popping cherry joke)

I'd pay another $10/Mo to see de Knoct go trolling the mods over at HOB like he used to do with Keith, Rainman, and all of those gafs were allowed to moderate.

Cannot picture Mr G mad, or even slightly frustrated. [laughing] @ him picking up Donald and putting him in the neighbors yard.

People named Donald are generally assholes. Terry is another name that usually produces a douchebag. On the flipside of it , all Tylers I've met have been pretty decent fellas.

Oh yeah, that Bryce Harper guy...6.1 WAR. .342 BA. .469 OBP. 25 HR. 60 RBI. 22 years old.

Might want to write that name down.

The Maine coastline is as nice as it gets. Going inward is an experience though. Same with NH.... I absolutely love the area on the beach my sister lives, but the few times I have been in other parts of the state were basically dodging meth heads and trying to figure out what language the locals were speaking.

He is a big man. I was walking into work about a month ago and he was there on business and walked in the front door with me. He is a behemoth of a man. Last year I was at Malone's for lunch and he came in with a group and sat at the next table. The amount of food and alcohol he consumed was ridiculous. He needs to find it in himself to deal with it. After reading the espn article on him a few months ago though, it sounds like he suffers from serious depression and isn't willing to try.

-Always get a little laugh when people come down here on vacation, sweating their tales off and say, "Man it's hot down here!" Sure is bud, you went as far south as you can possibly drive in the middle of the summer.

Speaking of which, I'm in great shape, resting HR of 62 and I sweat sitting in the shade with a fan doing nothing. I mean pouring sweat, to the point that when I'm not working all I wear is long sleeve dri fit shirts. #drifitlife

-Don't like the apple version of the Stitcher app, not at all. The amount of hours I've listened on their is ridiculous. 1500+ hours, mostly Joe Rogan, KSR, and Radiolab. The Fighter and The Kid making a strong push lately though and found out I really like Cornheiser's show which I had never listened to before podcasts.

-still looking for the right jeep, but holding on to that extra cash for down the road is starting to sound a lot smarter than another toy.

-Switched from android to Apple last month, which I swore would never happen but for certain reasons I did. Pretty even trade overall really, sprint service sucks here either way.

-Softball league starts Tues, I'll be sure to update stats so we can compare and see who's the greatest in here.

Basically the interior of any coastal state is Kentucky. Even island states like Hawaii.

I lived in Bakersfield, CA for 20 years, the central part of the state. Except for the desert landscape it was no different than any Southern/Midwestern area. Conservative, common people. Coastal California attracts the wackos.

Yea not like anything bad happens when FAT! people get un-FAT!...

Jared just opened up a digital t-shirt store. Maybe you've heard of it? www.bigboytees.com . Be a real shame if he got skinny like you assholes are suggesting. Sounds like y'all need counseling and help.

Home from vacation today. A good time was had by all.

HGTV is pushing a show called Tiny House Hunters hard. It's awful. Basically a bunch of middle-aged, lonely, single women moving into what amounts to a very nice children's fort.

Guy we bought our house from moved to a condo in Cape Cod. He was down here visiting the neighbors a few weeks back. He loves it up there, but they got slammed by about 6' of snow last winter. Be nice in the summer though.

Vacationed one July in northern Michigan on Burt Lake. Underrated if you're into the lake thing. Upper 70's/ low 80's and no humidity. Would be great for those who sweat.

Wife's friends are all starting to calve. She's 30 next month. I think that will be a bigger influence than other people. Still. Probably no activity on that front until 2017 or so.

If I don't type congrats on a public message board does that mean I don't give a shit that my friends had a healthy baby boy? Probably just like a pic on Facebook and call it a day.

Renovating Commonwealth Stadium during the rainiest, most miserable Kentucky summer ever completely fits UK Football. No way the contractors hit their goals. They have to have two or three weeks of missed work time by now.

Neighbor made Day 3 of the WSOP Main Event before busting. Went all in with pocket queens vs. pocket 10's pre-flop. Guy made his straight on the river. Ouch.

-My cousin is currently building a tiny house. He was so normal growing up. He's the IT guy at their school, wife is a teacher, and they have become absolute minimalists; she wants to quit her job and this is their solution. On the one hand, he lives in a way that I envy at times--has a fairly cushy low-stress job, summers off, and they travel the world constantly during those summers with all the money they've saved up. On the other hand…he's moving into a tiny house.

-Wife got offered a good job in Lexington today. The end is finally in sight. It's hilarious talking to people who want us to stay up here… their argument is essentially "well it's a great place to raise a family...." That's it. That's the list. After that nearly everyone admits they'd rather move south, they just can't because of family connections. Right now everyone's outside, enjoying being active, and it's like they don't see that you can have more of that if you live further south. One attending last week expressed to me her lifelong regret that she's lived here. My current co-resident on the rotation wants to leave, but can't due to family. The one person I know who loves living here and can't even consider moving south is a heartless, ruthless seeyounexttuesday. Keep the positive reviews coming, guys!

-Congrats, Schems. As a resident on an obstetric rotation right now, it's nice to actually feel happy for the baby being born. By and large, the wrong people are reproducing--and they're doing a LOT of it. A drug addict just delivered her ninth. NINTH. There are nine humans on this planet that she is responsible for. We need more good parents to have kids. (PS I don't want to be one of them….yet)

Well I guess today is one of the best two days in a boaters life-hope that stays false.

Just sitting around thinking about boats, listening to boat songs, drinking boats drinks...

Remember why we did this Swimmer. Come on down.

Ladycat92,
If you're here 13-17th there's Irish Fest, we've been before and it's not too bad. Tons of beer and it's on a fairly large festival ground with multiple stages so there are usually several options for things to do when you're there. Aside from that most things to do revolve around brewery tours. Lakefront is the most fun one. If you want to get absolutely hammered, do Milwaukee brewing company--it's pretty much unlimited high ABV beer. There's a gay bar next to it too, which is right up your alley… but it is in a whiter part of town. Still haven't toured Miller myself, it's more formal and stiff and not quite as fun as the smaller places. State fair is 6-16th, it's what you'd expect but good people watching for sure. Unfortunately most of the fun seasonal stuff is in late June and July. You can check out the Domes http://www.milwaukeedomes.org if you're at all into that sort of thing, I thought it was neat. The zoo here is really good. The Milwaukee Art Museum is well known, their displays rotate through but it's always interesting. Harley Davidson museum is supposed to be a really good tour, I haven't done it yet myself though. There's a large casino if you feel like seeing the patient population I treat and want to feel depressed.

There are tons of really good restaurants. La Merenda is my favorite of everything here; small plates that are all amazing, I'd go ahead and make reservations if you think you're going to want something like that--it books way in advance. They do always save a couple tables for walk-ins and there is bar seating without too much wait. Several great steak places; Bacchus is my favorite. Rumpus Room is a "bourbon bar" with small plates, I've liked it. Any Bartolotta-owned restaurant is high quality. Colectivo is the best local coffee place. Check out Milwaukee Public Market mid-day at some point. It's located smack dab in the middle of hipster mecca though, so beware. Seriously feel free to shoot me a message if you want any more recs…. I'm on call tonight and nothing's happening so I've got time to kill.
