Not true. Big difference between a 1-seed and a 2-seed.
UT has metrics that can lose 6-7 games, and get a 1-seed. UK does not.
That's why I said keep winning the damn games. UK still hasn't had its whole roster yet this season but with what we have now even without Thuero not afraid of any sec team.
You dont know that literally nothing matters anymore but Kenpom? Like if you don't have a certain Kenpom number you shouldn't even enter the NCAAT. You have no chance.

I heard recently that I think it was UConn, or some other recent team that won it, came into the tournament around 45 defensively. Not ideal, but it is doable. Not where we are now though.
Our offense jumped 5 spots to 4th.

UConn was 18th defensively heading into the tournament. 38th is the worst, here is the video.
College basketball has never been the way it is now.
There are 10 teams scoring as high as the #1 scoring team from last year.
There are 40 teams averaging 80ppg.
Last year there were 12.
Take it a step further...there are 123 teams averaging 75ppg.
Last year there were 74.
Still gotta have the ability to stop somebody when it's dire. So far we haven't had the ability to string together stops.
If we win out or even just drop one we will be a 1 seed.
I think 1 seeds this season will have 6-7 losses. There may not be a single team in a power 5 conference with less than 6 losses.

Defense can get better but they really do need to work on it. But right now I don't really care about any of that stuff, just win games and worry about Ken pom etc in March.

Wait until we are 32 games into the season. Our offense will be 1-3 and defense will be top 50 probably higher. Sample size is small currently, so much over reacting going on. All from mop up minutes on an adrenaline filled night for the team.
Personally I believe our team is already a notch ahead of every other team in the nation. Scary thing is we are nowhere near our ceiling.
Not a team I'd consider trading top 5 with, and we get even more dominant 6-10. Deepest team in the country bar non, our pieces are interchangeable without missing a beat. Show me another lineup that comes close to matching ours? I'll wait.
