A man at the Johnstown rally tried to breech security, but was caught. Don't think he was armed, but not sure. I think he was in the press area when caught.

A long time ago there was a football player, maybe Mark Curtis? A fan up in the stands had been drinking with friends who dared him to go down on the field, grab the ball and run. He did and the player put a vicious tackle on him. Said the guy wanted to see what it was like to run with the ball, so he showed him what it was like to get hit. The guy was hurt bad enough that he couldn't work, so he lost his job. When he lost his job, his wife left him. His life was ruined.
I don't know what the Trump guy had in mind or if he had any weapons. Even the hand can be a deadly weapon. Maybe he was drunk and just did something dumb or maybe he meant harm?
A little over 2-hours to kick off. I really have no idea what to expect from this team. Psyched up as always for the first game. Love this time of year!

Electricity went out about 20 minutes ago. They said it may be a few hours before it gets turned back on. I may not be watching the game so, no artillery during scores if they don't get it back on.

First game of the year and I elected to not even start watching since I knew I wouldn't make it til the end. Seemed like a good game from what I read and the highlights I saw. Did Walker get to play? I don't think I saw his name listed with any tackles.
Church this morning and then a quick trip to my hometown for a surprise 80th for Mom. Driving back tonight.....7 hrs on the road for a couple of hours with family.

Got to watch the start and stayed up until the next weather delay. Went to bed not knowing the final score until just now. Going fishing this morning in about an hour so, had to get some sleep in. First fishing trip in over 3 weeks.

SEC is 13-2 in week #1 with LSU playing USC tonight. Outscored their opponents 713-129. Unfortunately the 2 losses were marquee games. Maybe LSU will fare better tonight.
Hey folks, I hope Sunday is going along well. Its sunny and mild in the east. I'm taking it easy before a late lunch with my inlaws, daughter and her boyfriend. My wife is still in NYC helping her ailing aunt.
The Cats appeared to get through the first game with a competent performance. And no one got incinerated by lightning, so the NCAA has no complaints.
The interview with Kamala Harris eventually came off yesterday. I think it is safe to say no minds will be changed.

With a firearm, we know you can be a 1/4 mile away & kill. You have to physically touch someone to do so with hands. So I can't see the attempt possibility. Drunk/on drugs? OK. I'd say a crazed lib with no chance of impacting Trump. I just hate nutzo claims.

My Darling and I are heading to Kiptopeke Park again tomorrow morning around 3AM and I have to be in DC Tuesday but should be a good time. My Darling and I rarely get time alone so we are hitting the trail.
I will try taking pics this time... Going for Anchovy, Crab, Croaker, and Ribbon Fish (Belt or Cutlass fish too. Same type just different names.) Will have two coolers but will need to stop by 7PM to head home.
Caught 55 or so crab the last trip but didn't have an anchovy net but we do now. My Darling does wonders with those for seasoning. The Croaker and Ribbon fish I have a better way planned to catch those... We shall see..

Headed out to symphony pops concert this evening in Ft. Thomas. Last of the season. Needs to be over before the big Cincy fireworks program on the river. Md, did you ever make it to the WEBN Fireworks on the river? Or noise too much like work?
Fishing report: Got out to Rattler Pond (Ft. Sill) at 0700 this morning (bank fishing this time) and stayed for 4 hours. Many strikes and bumps with 8 hooked and 7 landed. 2 were under a pound while the other 5 were between 2 to 3 pounds each. Good morning of fishing. Cloud cover kept it cool enough to enjoy the experience more comfortably. Used a softer stick worm lure which allowed the buried hook (weedless rig) to come out easier and hook them when bit by the fish. Used chartreuse colored lures this morning along with my standard red/black stick worm but they only bit the chartreuse lure.
