Brings back memories of when our country was decent. Entertainment was wholesome and the whole family could go. No more. What counts as entertainment these days...movies, show, music, etc would have been shut down and banned back then....and rightfully so.
What became of these properties. Condo or housing developments now?
It was closed and sold in 2009 and became Legoland, Florida. It now has kids amusements and lego themes. I have not visited.
I had a great grandson arrive this morning. That gives me five great grandchildren now.
Congratulations Chief. Always a blessing to see your legacy grow through your family -- even if, like me, that's a paltry two grand kids so far...

The only way i can get into the D League is through notifications. I have to scroll down and find D League notification and enter the thread that way. Through the back door

Finally found time to respond. Oh, yes. He was a hoot! Everybody born after 1970 and lived in the region remembers Cas. Some say he invented the infomercial because his one-hour show advertised his stores. The program broadcast on WATE and maybe WBIR, if my memory is correct. He briefly served twice as Knoxville mayor, but never finished a term.
Fun fact: George Dempster was his political rival and also a former Knoxville mayor. Dempster invented the "Dempster Dumpster", also know as "Dipsy Dumpster" or "Dempsey Dumpster".
The Louisville Palace. One of the best to watch a concert. Only seats 2,800. Perfect. Took a date there in 1984 to see Chicago. Treated her to an expensive dinner that I couldn't really afford. Turns out she had a boyfriend. Used me for a concert ticket. Luckily I was transferred to Seattle 2 months later so no great loss. Didn't even get a goodnight kiss.

Fast forward 20 years spent an entire day with them. Had breakfast with a couple..lunch with a couple others, then dinner with all but a couple. Then later in the evening attended a private concert A great day
As with anything a couple were very nice and down to earth..two were very quiet (in different ways) and a couple had egos that would fill a barn.
No expensive date. The ex-wife loved it....but overall she cost me a fortune. Hence 'ex'

Warm and humid already in the east.
I’m cutting work short this afternoon and my wife and I are driving up to Philadelphia for our pre-anniversary weekend.
We both enjoy that city where so much of America’s early history unfolded. We have some restaurants and museums to visit, and some old neighborhoods to explore.
I hope you all have good weekends ahead.

Good Morning all, got a later start than planned. I feel like I let Uncle Jed and Granny down by getting up as late as I did on a work day. Glad my work schedule is flexible. (I try to forget that about my schedule.)

Good Friday Morning
Waiting on the sun to shine with 73° on the way to a high of 87°. It may hit 90 in the middle of the state. I am watching TV and California is burning up with the Dixie Fire still not controlled. What a mess that place is.
Chances of rain here are only 15% this afternoon so I don't expect any. We are OK at the present. I might take my pick up and do some off road driving in the swamps. That is always fun and a good time.
I trust all are well and in good health. Read Micah 2 & 3

We're off to anothe warm, muggy, sweaty start to the day, low 70s right now, but may only reach up to the low 80s with all the clouds and fog. Hopefully, no rain today.
I'm slowly getting my energy back from when I had the corona19 virus (or something like that). Last night, in my tennis league, I felt good enough to go two entire sets; no pain and very little fatigue. So, I'm thankful to be trending for the better. Soon, I might start back on the weights.
Lot's of crazy going on in the world, much of it lines up with Biblical prophecy. I noticed yesterday, as reported in the Israel news outlets, that bombing was started in Damascus. It made me wonder if that could be the beginning of the Isaiah 17. If you're not saved, now would be a good time to place your trust in Jesus.
In baseball news, Tampa Bay Rays are still leading the AL East and the Atlanta Braves are surging, playing really good ball right now.
Have a nice weekend if I don't see you before then.

Morning D-League fellows. It is 76.5°F and sunny and we are supposed to get up to 88° with 20% chance of rain. Since Wednesday at 1 pm we got 2.59" of rain. I can't complain.
