I bit the bullet and paid $75.00 for a Hank's Belts Extreme leather belt and will never go back to the crap department store belts again.
Life is much too short to shop at China crap junk department stores. Buy the best when you can. Hank's belts are the best on the market IMO. Especially for concealed carry.

Occaisionally some of you guys post pictures of old tombstones from your ancestors. I'm computer ignorant, but my sister sent me a picture of a tombstone from one of my ancestors. He was born in 1760 and was a founding member and Baptist preacher in a church in North Carolina.
Got a name to go with that Babdist. I'm one of 'em. Southern Babdist Long Runner. Can even cuss in tongues but prefer to be civil so folks know what I just so eloquently explained.

Give me your old ones so that when I get old enough to play golf it won't cost me anything. ;) I have some old army buddies trying to get me to play golf with them. One has even offered his old set to me to keep until I see if I like the game or not. Maybe one day.
If he offers you a set take them. I won't be parting with any of my clubs. I have 6 sets now and each of them means something to me for one reason or another. Plus, most of them are hard to hit and not the kind of clubs a newbie would be able to hit. Why don't you just channel your inner karate and foot wedge it around?

@Ben101er , I got new sensicore shafts DG S300 and I love them so far. I don't think that the pain they save you on an off center shot is their only strong point. I think the off center shots actually fly straighter with them. I recommend all old dudes invest in them. Hint...

I had some sensicore shafts back about 10 years ago, but I tried some graphites and haven't looked back. Now that you have improved your game with all this new technology, you will have to spot me some strokes. And you're not old. I am old.

Thanks for the recommendation. I just went to their website and purchased one. The price was a little higher than when you bought yours, though. The narrowest belt was 1 1/4" and it was $95, but I got the first time purchaser discount of 10%, so roughly $85.50. The 1 1/2" was $100. Looks like a great belt though.

Had 2 different people at different times ask me today how much I paid for my golf cart. Must be up to about 20 now since I bought it. I don't know about you, but I was raised to think asking people personal questions like that was tacky. Don't do it.

I know that Bert makes about 3 million a year off our taxes that subsidize the railroad...but I would never ask him about it.

Fact is, I paid $4200 for the golf cart and immediately spent $300 for wheels and tires. Wrote them a check for 45 hundred. Spent $600 for the high performance clutches and belts. Have some seats ordered that were $680. I've got, including the radio and lights, about $ 6000 invested in the cart. I could sell it tomorrow for a low ball price of $7200.

The more you know...well...the more you know.

I bet you claimed to be old when you were my age. Deny that!

I forgot that you guys use gassers. And btw, no I did not claim to be old at your age. I tried to hide the fact that I was well on my way to getting there. :)

Good evening D, been a great day here and a beautiful evening!!! Anybody else have a pink moon tonight, we do in the Berg!!!

Good day metal detecting, $.52 cents, 1 quarter, 1 dime and the rest pennies, which includes 3 wheat backs, 1943 is the oldest! What's the old saying a bad day detecting is better that a good day working! Don't know if that is true or not, I don't work anymore!!!! Oh with the $.52 I found today, I just owe $1159.48 on my detectors!!!!

I hope yawl (that's Berg slang for yawl) have a great rest of the evening!!!

Now why would getting a belt from Pinkstons earn me an angry face? BBUK? Gotta be a story behind that

I was just angry my Dad didn't have that type of belt you purchased. He'd have never used it like he did if he had.. He was almost as frugal as me. Of course he'd have found something else to whomp my behind but DARN I remember that belt!!!
