Anna is staying with us for the week. Right on schedule, she loses a tooth. So for the 1st time in my life, I get to be the Tooth Fairy. She gets 2 dollar coins when she finally goes to sleep tonite. I get a priceless memory. She has arranged her pillow exactly where the Tooth Fairy can take the tooth AND leave her treasure in return!

Yep. Currently 87°F at 4:46 AM. Front moving in. We may keep it below 100°F today.

It’s a very nice 63 degrees in Rex KY.
Yesterday was very nice. A good breeze all day. Did inside chores till 11 then outside till almost dark.
Crappie for supper. Was really good eatin.
Deck about done.
A few inside things this morning then heading g to Lexington to get oldest son. He’s coming in to take care of getting a car and all that entails.

Anna still is getting the hang of the concept of money. She put her coins in a plastic egg and wanted strawberry milk for breakfast! Nana is still sleeping so Papa Ghost is on Anna Watch until I have to go to work!

Great night last night...#1 AND #2 stopped by for a couple of hours. All of us were home (#3 still lives at home) for the first time in a loooong time. No boyfriends, girlfriends, ... just us 5. Both 1 & 2 start new real adult jobs in August...they were asking me about insurance, whats an HSA, how much should I put in my 401k...what is a 401k?, etc.... Kind of funny, what a difference 5 years makes...! Not telling you guys anything you don't already know.

Woke up at 6:00 am to a wonderful 65° F. It has been a long time since it has been that low here.

Got the lawn mowed yesterday and most of the storm damage has been mowed away.

I got Starbucks once. In an airport. Took a sip and threw it in the trash.
I've got a 5 speaker tapered array for a center. This created a real nice focal point for movie dialog and center stage for music videos. (Low Mid, High Mid, Tweeter, High Mid, Low Mid)

I’ve been busy with my Mom and family. It’s been rough as I know you all understand.
I resigned from DTOR yesterday. It took too much time away, especially on weekends. I missed several big family events including the last gathering the family surprised Dad with at their house before it went on the market. I lost too much time with him and can’t miss opportunities with my Mom and other family because of a job.
I apologize for not posting more recently. I just haven’t had the heart for it, tbh. I do miss you guys though and have truly appreciated your thoughts and prayers
Afternoon leaguers. Starting to warm up a tad this pm. Hope ATC, Rooster and Chief don’t melt with the heat wave.
We hit 111° last Thursday and Friday. Sometimes you just gotta stay inside.
Went to a Starbucks in Lawton OK about a year or so ago and ordered a regular black coffee. Worker looked at me and said: "Finally, a real man" (Out Loud). He was probably not working there the next day. Could have been intentional to get fired idk but, it had me laughing.
What i was told was that they burn their beans on purpose so the coffee taste will still come through all the crap that Starbucks customers usually screw up their coffee with. If you order it black, the way it should be, it tastes awful.
Haha, you and I have totally different budgets for sound. I would assume though that someday I will build a better system. I will be building a MTM center with a nested tweeter. Should be good for my application.

I filled up yesterday at a Shell. Above the Emergency Shutoff button was a foreign word and under it was STFO. I swear.
