Y'all behave.

Morning D! Wednesday night starts the weekend....
Some of the wife's handy work below...I get to lift rocks & put them where she tells me.
There's a small fish/frog pond behind all them flowers & plants. Her favorite (probably mine too) is the Hardy Hibiscus in the middle...starts blooming towards middle to late June and doesn't stop til Fall.

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
  • 81º in Johns Creek. Blue sky. Very nice morning.
  • Lola says "hi."
  • The Zoysia is just beautiful.
  • Crows are busy in our fig trees. Noisy.
  • Got in about an hour later than usual. Lola had to come see me. She is usually waiting by the back door wagging that little fancy tail. Sweet.
  • Stay safe on this hump day.
  • As you were.

Good luck Bev!

I just got in. 33 holes of golf today. I want to get this post done quickly because i doubt I'll be able to use my hands here in a little bit. Or my legs, back, feet, or skin. Everything will hurt.

I just poured about 3 fingers of bourbon with an ice ball. Relaxation is the game I'm playing now.

Bahamas is getting closer and closer. Wish I was there for it.

Morning D
Waiting to get my nails done
I have a job interview today. Excited and nervous
It’s here in town in a dentists office. Good pay, four days a week plus benefits
Keep your fingers crossed
Good luck Bko. Sounds like a real good job to me,(good pay, benefits and time for your family), doesn't get any better imo.

Went to the dermatologist today and they found three suspicious spots to look at further. I had a couple of basals cut out a couple of years ago. I worked several years as an oil field electrician in hot Bakersfield and am paying the price for all that time in the sun.

I wake up every morning and check to see what new thing has attached itself in or on me or has stopped working during the night

Bev not tryin to preach but to give you a heads up..lost my best friend in my father in law in 2011...My mom in 2012, only for my Dad to get called home 6 months later in 2013, as if that was not enough, the best and I mean the best mother in law, the Lord called home in 2014..lost em all in a 4 year span..it was crazy BUT knowing who they are and where they are does make it easier and I also know they seen the best so they would not wanna come back but patiently wait for the family to join them..please know according to scripture there is a much better place. Rest easy that Pops is there and awaits his family to join him..made it much easier on me to think that way, hope it brings peace to you to think the same...Thinkin of ya!

64.6° F at 7:07am in Smiths Grove, KY; home of the brave (excluding me).

Had a great day yesterday. Read a book written by one of my friends. It got humid but all in all was a wonderful late July day.

Man am I juiced by the Presidents beating up on the EU. My railroad career was based on a U.S. company not being able to sell or move products to other countries. CSX served the Eastern U.S. and Southern Canada. We could haul anything into the U.S., but we had to watch what we shipped into Canada. Justin Trudeau, lying little bastard, is shaking in his boots now that Trump wants FREE trade. He wants to keep NAFTA which takes care of Canada and Mexico and screwed over the U.S.

NAFTA is another night mare agreed to by the U.S. I held public office for 10 years and for four of those years I was on the Executive Board of BRADD (my areas Area Development District). We handed out the money to folks who lost their jobs because of NAFTA. The U.S. paid to send people back to school, so they could get another job that moved to Mexico or Canada. Hell they (Congress) knew when it was passed that America would lose jobs and they still did it. I watched my loads (railroad cars) drop a bunch after NAFTA. I had a large factory near Madisonville, KY that made lighting fixtures for homes and industry. As soon as NAFTA passed they closed. Hell, in my Evansville territory CSX originated 80,000 cars of grain (roughly 100 tons per car) and we could not ship them to Europe or Canada.

Finally, Trump is going to force freer trade from other countries instead of cheering other countries screwing America.

  • Good Morning, D-Leagueanites.
  • 68º in Johns Creek. Perfect morning.
  • I hear QB bumping around in the house with Lola.
  • Sold that place we bought for QB's brother 3 years ago. Gosh it sold quickly. We haven't closed yet.
  • Nothing going on here.
  • Except it's my birthday.
  • Y'all be careful out there.
  • Carry on with vigor.
Happy Birthday to Don
Happy Birthday to Don
Happy Birthday dear Don
Happy Birthday to you.

Preach it, brother. Can I hear an Amen?
