Wife was looking through some of these free TV programs and came across PLUTO TV and we have been going through some of what they have and happened upon 24hr a day Mystery Science Theater. Now playing: Legend of Boggy Creek 2 with of course the commentary of the host and the 2 robots. Forgot how stupid but awkwardly funny it could be sometimes.
Planning on getting rid of Dish soon but told her we need to find one where they have the SEC channel and ESPN so I can get my UK basketball fix. Outside of that, I don't care what else we have as long as we have that..

I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow at 1145. Guess I'll head on to Louisville early and see what i can get into. Might scout out some spots to go with Dad on Tuesday.

Good morning from ATX. Currently 79°F. Expecting a record 107°F later today. Yesterday, we hit 105°F downtown and 108°F at the North Austin weather station. Might see some relief tomorrow. We're currently in the midst of our "winter", so to speak.

- 68º in Johns Creek. Blue sky with some clouds. Not bad.
- Went to bed at 8:00. Slept pretty well off and on until 7:30.
- DM tasting good.
- My Mom was an excellent cook, pie maker and cake baker. She made biscuits a lot. I would bring friends sometimes. They would be amazed.
- We did KFC for our early supper. Good eatin.'
- Have a safe driving day.

And now 30 minutes later, we are solid overcast.
I just took the recyclables out. A few spotty clouds. Look like I will be able to mow later today. Plus it just now turned 70°.

Just got back from JR's. Good biscuit and sausage cream gravy and 2 OM QB eggs. Excellent. Lola ate the plastic buckle on her new restraint. Damn it. Pain in the azz. Maybe the shoe repair place can repair it so we can still use it.

Well it's another Monday but the wife and I had a very good weekend. Good friends coming this weekend so we have something else to do and plan.

Stayed home Saturday, worked Sunday morning then went over #2's rent house. Its getting better but has a long way to go yet. Hopefully the owner is going to replace & fix everything he said he's going to...but I doubt it. Hope he proves me wrong. It's not far off from the Daffy Duck cartoon, where he is a door to door Salesman...and at the end of it he says "Hey Bub! You need a new house to go with this doorknob!!

Appointment went well today. On paper, I'm in great shape. BP 116/76, pulse 78, temp 96.9.
14 lbs lighter than 4 months ago. Getting out of bed in the morning tells a different story.
Picked up some country ribs today and put em on the egg. Used the last of the dry rub I made and fired em at 300° for 3 hours. So good. I ate 3 of them and was full.
I'm only eating once a day now but I'm drinking a little over a gallon of water everyday. I feel great. Dropped below 200 according to this mornings weigh in. 185 in about a month or so.

Now that's one thing I could do well too. Can't sing a lick but, I could call some cadence. So can these guys.
A good cadence caller brings out everyone’s best effort, imo. I know we were louder for some over the other’s because of it.
We topped out earlier today at 109°F. 8:09 PM and current temperature is 101°F. Hottest I've seen here since 2011.

Anna is staying with us for the week. Right on schedule, she loses a tooth. So for the 1st time in my life, I get to be the Tooth Fairy. She gets 2 dollar coins when she finally goes to sleep tonite. I get a priceless memory. She has arranged her pillow exactly where the Tooth Fairy can take the tooth AND leave her treasure in return!
