At one time, we literally only had 7 players and do to a common issue with the current staff, a total lack of communication, all we can do on this MESSAGE BOARD, is talk about the information we have, which is coming from media members that specialize in UK sports.

We had 7 players in June and Reeves was definitely on the fence until he realized he had to come back. Calipari had to convince him to come back, don't act like he didn’t.
Then, Huggins got a DUI and we lucked out by getting Mitchell, but you're acting like there was never a concern. There was 100% reason for concern on multiple issues with regards to the roster this summer, but you're shitting on UK fans because we voiced concern based on the information we were given.
Even Cal himself talked about how challenging it was to find players that wanted to come to UK to compete with a bunch of highly ranked NBA draft picks.
The concerns were real, so you calling us out because we were on a UK message board talking about it, is ridiculous.
I truly believe Calipari is working his ass off to get Ivisic. I also think this kid is a special talent. My alma mater needs to wake up.
So stating we only had 7 players = we're trashing the program? How? It was a fact at the time and on top of that, Cal never reached out to any of the top players in the portal while he was waiting on Oscar and Livingston to confirm they weren't coming back, ehich is something we all knew.
Cal mismanaged the portal bigtime and he ended up getting a bit lucky with Mitchell.
Call that 'trashing' all you want, but at least be correct, nobody was trashing UK, we were critical of Cal for allowing players to hold UK hostage and mismanaging the portal.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Cal. That is not how universites work. UK has 13,000 employees. It is an educational institution with rules on how it is to operate. All this speculation about Cal burning bridges isn't reasonable.

This whole process is unbelievable, the school and the kid have had well over a month to get things in order but they can't seem to address any issues. We are now facing some bureaucratic deadline that could have been avoided weeks ago. It isn't as if one person has been working on this in some obscure basement office and dropped the ball.
No one, not a bad word has been said about Cal… I mean CCC, Bradshaw, Reeves, Ugo, their “posse”, the athletics director, the president, and even admissions who are only doing their job.
BTW, anyone who thought we were gonna start the season with 7 players is clueless. That’s like crying about having one commitment. We literally only have one so is crying about smart? That’s just like the people crying about Big Z getting eligible now.
Read that Z is getting frustrated with this too, and will at some point have to go elsewhere quickly to retain his eligibility.
Kentucky normally lets in anybody with a pulse, but now a talented basketball player who has shown he can speak English, no that’s not good enough, you gotta go through as many obstacles as possible
