Just read articles where Cronin (UCLA) and Woodson (INDIANA) Threw players under the bus after losses.

Basically took no responsibility at all for themselves on how the team or the players performed.
Woodson said his two guards were 'awful tonight'
For whatever you think about Cal he does not throw players under the bus.
Cronin was quoted as saying 'You can't call your Mommy, she can't help you'. Sounds like guys you would want to play for.

Lady Cats

I don’t want to disrespect any of the young ladies on the team because I think they are giving their best. Under the current staff they will not win a SEC game this year. It is the worst power 5 girls team I have ever seen. Another brilliant Barnhart move. I have a granddaughter playing D-1 basketball for a mid major and they recently played the lady Cats and lost but the game was a squeaker. I have ESPN + and watch their games as I enjoy watching lots of basketball and I cannot believe how the program fell after Mitchell left.

UK and Big Z should sue the NCAA's @$$'s off

By letting other players that's in the same situation that Big Z is in play, but not letting Z play. An unfair double standard that should not be allowed to go on. Hurting Big Z's ability to improve his game so that he can reach his dream of playing as a professional basketball player in the NBA. If he had done something that would have made him ineligible the NCAA would have already ruled him ineligible. They can't find anything that he's done wrong that's the reason that they asked for an extra 30 days in hopes that they might be able to come up with some reason to rule him ineligible. If Z was at Kansas or Duke he would have been ruled eligible the day he committed

SUE THEIR ASSES OFF!!!

Will 12 team playoff be less top heavy than CFP has been?

I surely hope so: Have some random thoughts below.

Just 15 schools have made the four team CFP in the ten years in its existence. And nearly half of the forty potential invites have gone to just three teams: Bama (8); Clemson (6); TOSU (5). So on average, two of those three schools have made up half the four team playoff the last ten years. If you add in the next three teams, UGA (3); Oklahoma (4) and Michigan (3), that is 29 of the 40 possible spots taken by only six teams. Surely a 12 team playoff, with the potential for upsets, will give us more variety for different teams in final four.

Unless . . . I honestly wonder with NIL and transfer portal, will the top teams just become so dominant as to be nearly invincible?

Another thing, for all the talk about SEC dominance in the CFP . . . . it really has been Bama and Georgia dominance since 2014 - only one other SEC team has been invited, LSU in 2019, who won it all that year.

I will say that I was a big fan of the CFP when announced, thought that four was just the right number (still think that actually). However this year, a good argument could be made that the next four left out, Ohio State, Georgia, Florida State and Oregon (assuming all were at full strength, obviously FSU was not) were pretty much the equal of the four that got invited this year. Had there been an 8 team playoff, most likely Georgia would have been the betting favorite, and if FSU was at full strength, would have to think they would have gotten a lot of betting action as well.

Finally, when looking at the overall list, one thing stuck out to me was the teams that did not make the playoffs in ten years. Had you told me in January 2014 that Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, Miami FLA, Southern Cal and Penn State would never make the top four in the next ten years, I would have bet a lot of money against that proposition.

Yes it’s early but Lunardi has Kentucky as

If this has already been posted I apologize let me know and I’ll delete this. Ok so I know it’s way too early to worry about seed lines. But Joe Lunardi has Kentucky currently sitting at a 2 seed. The only reason I post this is because it’s exciting news because i can’t remember the last time Kentucky was associated as a 2 seed and actually felt like A. They deserved it and B. Could actually do something with it. I can’t help but get excited even more thinking about this team’s potential come tournament time. If we can just get something, anything consistent from Edwards and then the 5 spot regarding blocks and rebounds we would be hard to beat. It’s probably been since the maxey and quickly team the last time I genuinely liked the team. Nothing against the last few years I’m sure they were all great people. But this team you can see from top to bottom they LOVE playing with each other and they don’t give a crap if it’s their night to score a bunch or the guy on the bench’s night. It’s felt like forever since we’ve had that kind of team chemistry. Anyway I know this post is kind of pointless on January 5th lol. But I saw that article on espn and even though he doesn’t gush about Kentucky or anything it just got me excited on the eve of our first conference game. Ok GO CATS and GO BIG BLUE!!

Another Prospect to Watch from Frankfort?

The city of Frankfort has produced some really nice football talent in recent years and this kid, Fred Farrier of Franklin County HS looks to have the potential to be the next one. He is a class of '21 WR. I haven't been able to find any recruiting info on him this far, but I would be surprised if Kentucky doesn't become aware of him at some point and maybe they are already. No idea how he ultimately projects as far as SEC level or not, but he is a local kid to at least keep an eye on. Here are his Sophomore highlights.
