Stoops is Stoops

He Hasn’t changed. He isn’t going to change. He isn’t a good coach, nor after 11 years will he get any better. He used his Family’s Name to get the job. Struggled early until he caught Lightning in a bottle with Benny Snell, Chris Rodriguez, Lynn Bowden, and Josh Allen. Caught UL during a down time to get Kentucky’s best HS players.

Even with that he really hasn’t beat anyone. Beat Florida and South Carolina when both programs were down. Beat UL when their program was down. Beat MAC teams because you are supposed to. Not really close to Georgia or Tennessee or Missouri at the present. Have lost a home game to Vandy. And back to back games to South Carolina.

In all of this it isn’t the losses as much as HOW WE LOSE each game. Making Heisman Trophy Candidates of opposition QBs. Poor tackling. Poor Clock Management. Bonehead Penalties. Receivers dropping wide open passes. Calling a 30 yard pass when you need 5 yards. Playing for Field Goals instead of TDs. Playing very Undisciplined . And the list goes on and on.

Folks it isn’t going to get any better under Mark Stoops. Nothing is going to change. Stoops will continue to be Stoops.

The play that cost us the game

Last week bama had 3rd and 17 and we played a soft zone giving Milroe as much time as he needed to find an open receiver for the easy first down. This week on S. Carolina’s winning drive having them at 3rd and 15 we did the exact same thing. Anyone who knows KY football knew that was ballgame then and there. Sorry folks but stoops is too big of a moron to progress our program further. We are headed back to where S Carolina is now and hoping to win the last game(s) of the season for bowl eligibility. We have seen the best we are going to see under stoops, it’s all down hill from here I’m afraid.

Can’t recall a time I’ve been jacked after a loss

Let me be clear, moral victories do not exist in Lexington with regards to the Men’s Basketball program. It was not a victory in any way, but I can’t help but come away from watching that extremely excited and optimistic.

That game last night was a lot of fun. No bigs, nothing from your two top 10 draft picks, your veteran shooter misses some good looks down the stretch, and yet the game just slips away at the end after some key mistakes from freshmen.

This team is full of dudes that will only get better from here, and I doubt we get this type of performance from DJ and Justin the rest of the season.

This loss and team just feel different, and I’m pumped to see them blossom into an elite team. For the first time in several years, It’s a matter of when, not if.

When Bradshaw starts playing, give me our roster over any other roster in the country.

Secondary is atrocious

How many completions has our secondary allowed this year where a DB isn’t within 10 yards of the WR??? Far too many times guys are running loose in the secondary. After one drive tonight it looks like A Phillips isn’t interested in playing. That’s a position that has to have a change in the staff.

This isn’t a hot take after that first drive, just a string of obvious issues all year.
