I'm thinking if he's not cleared by 5:00 p.m. today he's gone forever. The NCAA is closing its doors at 5:00 p.m. today for the rest of the holidays and will not reopen until January 1st. This was a travesty.
Play him anyway and screw the corrupt NCAA. Their inaction is an unwarranted and vindictive posture assumed by these pinheads. Is it some type of dislike of Calipari? Their inaction makes no sense ... at all, considering how hard this kid has worked to become eligible. Someone had better have a good answer otherwise UK should pursue legal action. I'm sure UK's rivals would love to see exactly what we all see right now.
IMO this may not be the case; his videos appear very fluid, agile, and dominant espcially for a 7 ftr

If they can be ignored and a new league created made up of college athletes, WITHOUT NIL getting out of control, then I'm all for it. Screw the NCAA. I've said it before and will say it again. A record book with an asterisk beside it means nothing to those with memories. Just play him and take the asterisk. They're not going to be able to deny admissions or prevent them from playing in games. It's not like we're handing out A's and B's like candy. This one could easily be explained away.
Total arrogance, zero transparency, and absolutely no respect given to either this young man or its member institution. The NCAA deserves everything coming their way!
I used to be co-located with this guy who I considered to be weird. He said his father was coming by later and I needed to give something to him if I didn't mind. I'm at my office sitting at my desk and this man walks up who looks like a 30-year-older version of his son, and he stands about an inch and a half from my face and says my son says you have something for me. Every time he talked he would get right into your face. It was a strange experience. It wasn't long after that the Seinfeld episode came out.
Cal made the point, at Louisville pc, that HS Jr and Sr's are making hundred of thousands to a million(one player). Playing for pay. There is no such thing as amateur status anymore. The NCAA is making sure Z maintained amateur status in THIS atmosphere? Just bureaucratic hypocrisy. Analyze it all you want. That's all it is.
So kids that are earning money to play are eligible ?

It's nil..."name, image, likeness" pfp loophole. NCAA is just clinging to "power" imo. Sucks.
