I don't want to wear the mask but I'm doing it just to be courteous and thats it. I think Andy is a moron. I just have one question why doesn't the my body my choice apply here? They say it when it comes to abortions. An unprotected unborn baby is harmed. It's the same principle. So why does the mask have different principles applied?
Behear said in his news conf last week that you do not have to wear one and you can enter businesses provided you do just what you did....tell them you have a health condition. The business was wrong in turning you away.
Because it's not just your body, it's everybody you affect if you are a carrier.

How many places are you allowed to smoke anymore besides your home? I miss the smoking sections, you could always get a seat in that area quicker.

Beshear is in a no win situation, IMO. If you put yourself in his shoes it is hard to say what is right and what is wrong. I don't envy it and quite frankly I just follow a whole bunch of old sayings I grew up with and everything makes more sense to me. Better safe than sorry is a good one because frankly none of us know what the hell this Corona virus is- clearly, including medical professionals.
What pisses me off far more than a mask mandate is any denial that these protests didn't hack these numbers up more so than some people not wearing a mask at a grocery store or bar. Irritates the crap out of me. Miami, LA, etc...protest, protest, protests. Complete horse crap to deny it.

How is it constitutional to make women wear shirts when boobs have no chance of infecting anyone, but not constitutional to make people wear masks if it is possible they could infect someone? I say let women walk around topless.

If the carrier of a baby terminates a pregnancy there are often many others who are affected, not to mention an unborn baby.
It is unbelievable to me how cavalier some in society are with the acceptance of abortion. Truly unreal. Even if you factored an absurdly high miscarriage rate of 50% we are talking 25mm lives in the past 50 years.
It is really sad. 700k people have died of Aids in the US since it was an epidemic. Just think about those numbers....we are talking 8%-10% of US population being eliminated to equate to the number of abortions since 1970.
It is a tough subject overall.

it’s a vital function of the AG to make sure that the legislature and governor aren’t violating the state constitution. While I may support a particular policy it’s important to make sure it is constitutional. I support the concept of separated powers. Regardless of who holds what office.
I didn't even pay attention then. Bevin wasn't trying to make healthy people wear masks to placate the masses. I'm not into placebo effects.
Contraception instead of using abortion as a form of birth control.
The government already provides money, food, and insurance to support families and children. Get rid of the welfare fraud, which runs rampant, and the taxes are already high enough.
My wife has a cousin that was pregnant with her second child she couldn't afford to raise without government assistance. The state gave her $500 to have her tubes tied and paid for the surgery. Maybe we should use something like that to keep people from having children they don't want or can't provide for. That is WAY more cost effective for taxpayers and the government.
I know of at least a couple places. Again the numbers of deaths by abortions support my argument. But sure I'm just throwing poop against the wall.
I’m almost to the point if you are going to require a mask, let’s just go ahead and require every single person get tested. Then let’s open back up. If you have a negative test, go on with life. Seeing some articles saying if you had it, you actually may be able to get it again in a month or two. If that’s the case, do people really expect we shut down for one or two years until vaccine is available? And I wouldn’t be surprised if only half of people get the vaccine so then at that point you have a lot of spreaders out there. Time to shut down again at that point? My vote is open back up, send my kids back to school, take whatever safety precautions you need but we have to live our lives. For kids I wish they would give option of go to school five days a week in class or 5 days virtual learning. Let parents decide from there what they do. For the ones saying Trump is crazy and shouldn’t be opening schools..bet majority of those people would send their kids to school in a heartbeat.
I don't really get the abortion vs. coronavirus debate. To me, it's a no-brainer.
I have two 68-year-old parents. I would much rather see them die of the coronavirus than die of an abortion at this point. How is this even debatable? Just imagine: having to watch my parents be led by collar and chain as the abortion scientists poke and prod them with their fetus blood-soaked spears down a dimly lit hallway. Then back into the operating room, where lying spread eagle on two separate tables before them, are the skulled out and dirt covered remains, with an apparent womb-like structure, of each of their long-deceased mothers. The rest of the family and I watch on in horror as the abortion scientists give each parent the magical shrinking potion, as both my mom and dad begin to shrink down to undeveloped fetus size. They then solemnly crawl up into the respective womb like remains of the skulled out corpses before them, where the abortion scientists then insert their sucking tubes and suck up their shrunken brains and innards. The abortion scientists then take turns gurgling the fetal juices before spitting them directly into the glass divider my family and I are watching through, as is customary.
I mean, those videos out of the hospitals in Italy and NYC were tough, but they ain't got shit on that.

I wasn't paying attention to those lawsuits. This time, I am, and I'm right behind the AG in this. Andy needs to know he's not an emperor or king. Mandating healthy people to wear masks over something akin to a cold to 99.8% of the population isn't right. Let lawmakers decide that it's worthy. Thankfully, officers aren't enforcing it.
First of all, it is convenient you for you to pay attention when it affects you personally and not when it affects others. I appreciate you being a fair citizen. That is the opposite of what citizenship demands. Second, it is not akin to a cold. Colds don't kill 135000 people in less than five months.

I was totally lying .. because I was 30 miles from home and needed a pair of boots to do an outside job . Didnt have time to drive home and come back to do the job . There was not one single person in the entire store , I would put no one at risk .
Following the logic of "we cant afford to take care of all those aborted babies"... shouldn't the left be AGAINST masks... if it means more people die?
