LOL at the University of Louisville paying people to vote in favor of James Ramsey in a websites online poll. This is a poll that has absolutely zero impact on the Rasmey vote within the school yet somehow in a matter of 2 hours 3 computers in his office submitted around 446 votes in favor of the Louisville President :joy: (and a total of 700 in that time frame)

Has MJ changed his mind on "Pitino is gone"? When he talks about the sanctions for UL, he keeps mentioning Pitino being suspended a few games. Before when someone would ask about it, he would say, "I still think Pitino is gone" and when this first broke, He was for sure he was gone. I think he's gradually changed his tune over the past few months.

He still says he think that Pitino is gone. I don't know if his belief is as strong as it was three or four months ago, but he does still say he believes he won't coach at UL next season (at least as of last week or so).

I still think Pitino will "resign" after they agree on how much of the $50 Million buyout he gets. I think Pitino knows this and is posturing to the public to increase his leverage, though in the end that may end up biting him in the ass.

That's hilarious. I don't think they want to piss off Insider Louisville, they've already lambasted them over the Yum center scam.

What a bunch of clowns, trying to skew an online poll from the president's office.

If accurate, this is moving very fast. That said, as the NCAA source said about the case, "it's a slam dunk." They reportedly have many former players and past recruits that have verified this happened.

Nothing else will happen to them, according to pitino the worst is behind them. Doesn't T-will like it behind him?

Lets just be honest for a minute here. You have to question the old testament of the bible..... If that stuff really happened God would of turned Louisville into a salt pillar by now right?
God gave free will to man to do as he chooses, unfortunately the folks at UL choose to be like Sodom and Gonorrhea ,er I mean Gomorrah,The only question is why none of them listen to the Priest that Pitino has on his bench.

Just wait until the Muslims take over this country with their violent punishment for offenders like UL and it's slime, the Liberal Islam lovers will all be in for a surprise soon enough.

No. Louisville would be destroyed. Lot's wife was turned into a pillar of salt when she looked back to see the destruction. Maybe we can make Jurich, Pitino and Ramsey look back and turn into a pillar of crap.

The Tard Fans don't seem to think they'll get any stiffer of a penalty
I had some friends over Sunday evening for a cookout. Three of the four are die-hard UL fans and the fourth is kind of a fan (he did his post-grad work there) but not hardcore. All are convinced there's no chance Pitino leaves or gets punished. One admitted that its just as bad if he didn't know this was going on for four years as it would be if he did know. Another said this happens at every single school and further went on to say that hookers being paid to have sex with players/recruits is no worse than said players/recruits having sex with college students for free.

Funny thing is that we have a neighbor that we are quite fond of that said almost identical things in a different conversation about a month ago about the situation. Do UL fans have a guide book they use to try and argue why Pitino is innocent and UL deserves no further punishment?

These fools better get something serious! They paid escorts, hookers. Not strippers, f'ing prostitutes!! To have sex with minors! That has to be at the very top of worst things an athletic department has ever done. Just breaks every code of ethics there could possibly be. If they get off without the death penalty the ncaa should be disbanded immediately

One shameful thing, among many, that has resulted from this entire scandal is the way Louisville fans, who might otherwise be perfectly decent people with a fairly respectable moral compass, have been forced to take stands and articulate opinions which are completely inconsistent with the rest of their decisions and stands.

I suppose it's a difficult thing, when it comes to the team you support, to always take rational positions and consistent moral positions when it means you basically have to speak against your coach or your team and program. Personally, I remember having to admit that UK screwed up big time in the late 80s, which resulted in those severe sanctions. But I did it. I would hope that I'd have the moral fortitude to do the same today if something similar happened.

But the bottom line is that these UofL fans are grasping at straws and turning their own morals on their heads in order to justify continuing to support what has happened in that program under Pitino. Pitino himself has proven to be a very unsavory character, to put it mildly, and these events using hookers to recruit are indefensible for anyone who can see straight. Anyone who could say anything other than "what has happened here is horrific and should never have happened. Rick needs to go, house needs to be cleaned, and we deserve whatever the NCAA decides to do" has compromised his integrity completely.

i am guessing that UL should receive the NOA in a month or so
i am curious how many level one infractions they get
i think LOIC is a given
