It's never the same watching these teams hosting other conference foes. When UK comes to town, it's a t-shirt giveaway, a white out, a red-out, and it's always a packed house. Watching Texas A&M hosting LSU and the gym is dead. Team is playing poorly. Upper deck is empty. When UK comes to town here next week, how will it look?

A&M down 14 to LSU at home with under 4 to go. But, of course! And we know how they'll play against us.

And if one of them ends up beating us at home it’s their national championship! Hang a banner!

Both teams look horrid
Yeah, I was thinking that same thing. Bad shooting from both teams. The thing LSU did pretty well was they defended Wade Taylor pretty well, who is basically A&M's offense. The Aggies shot 25% from the field. Look no further. LSU only shot 41% from the field but didn't have to do much to beat TX A&M. But when UK shows up next Saturday, just get ready. Packed house, t-shirt giveaway, probably free tickets and free food for people who show up with the right color shirt. And will the team play flat? Not a chance. It's irritating. Yes, it's an honor to be respected but not much fun dealing with "superbowl" every game.

A and M will get up for UK and also be extremely desperate to avoid an 0 and 3 start in SEC play. I don't see them winning at AU the game before ours.

Road teams won 5 out of 8 SEC games today. Going to be a crazy year. We have to hold serve at home. Getting A&M early might be best. You got to think they put it together at one point. Too much Talent

Auburn has to be the hottest team in the SEC right now- glad we don't play them for several weeks, plenty of time for them to cool off and get some reality checks between now and then.

Historically, I know the ACC and even Big Ten has been deeper with good teams as a conference, and that's why some commentators have historically over-inflated how good teams were coming from those conferences...even with numerous losses.

However, I think that depth of having multiple "big-time" schools has made it somewhat easier for the top dogs like UNC or Duke in the ACC b/c every game for them isn't a "giveaway night" of some sort every time they roll into town like it is for UK in the SEC.

Every year, multiple teams play out of their minds at home and sometimes get a big upset UK only to fall flat on their face the next game even if it's against a horrible team. Most of the time, that nonsense makes the UK team look worse than they really are to anyone outside the SEC.

This is the reason I am not a fan of other SEC teams in the NCAAT. When it comes to basketball all any SEC team cares about is beating UK. I hope they all lose and suck in the process.

Ray Mears had one of his players (Roger Peltz) lead the Vols basketball team onto the court in hard knox ville.

People like to watch the big dogs. This is nothing new. It’s an honor to be that program.
