Amen brother! What a dumb hire for Cincinnati. They were a playoff team last year. Makes no sense.

We will agree to disagree on this. You can win at Purdue just like people said when Iowa hired Hayden you could never win here, or when Bill Snyder was hired at Kansas State originally, or Alvarez at Wisconsin....the list goes on and on.He is their Nick Saban.
Put it in context rucker4.
Purdue is one of maybe only 20 P5 programs with less success than Kentucky . . . only one ten win season in program history.
When Louisville sniffed 4 years ago, Purdue threw Top 10 money at him. And they have that much more money to do it , again, which is now 8 million or so.
Tiller did not do better than Brohm. Plus, the NIL opportunities aren’t much.We will agree to disagree on this. My point is it takes the right hire. Nobody will convince me the average Purdue fan feels what Brohm did is the best they can ever do. Hell, Tiller did much better in his time at Purdue.
Purdue is spending a few hundred million on upgraded facilities soon.
Not saying Purdue won't attempt to keep Brohm, but he's not the savior in West Lafayette some seem to think.
You might want to re-think that statement Mrs. Brohm. Here's what Tiller did.Tiller did not do better than Brohm. Plus, the NIL opportunities aren’t much.

Exactly and he's not even in the good Big 10 divisionPraying it's Brohm.
36-34 at Purdue and killing it
No one here in Cincinnati seems to be excited about Satterfield.
Just wait until they find out he's interviewing for a Carolina job mid seasonNo one here in Cincinnati seems to be excited about Satterfield.

Never hurts to milk your employer for more cash.Brohm’s presser today screamed Purdue has its work cut out if it wants to keep Jeff.
I lived in Indy during much of the Tiller run and don’t remember any true signature wins. You‘re correct though that the overall record is better. You might want to re-think that statement Mrs. Brohm. Here's what Tiller did.

Success on the field is clearly in favor of Tiller. Brohm is at .500 basically in both overall record and conference record.I lived in Indy during much of the Tiller run and don’t remember any true signature wins. You‘re correct though that the overall record is better.
Was out getting an oil change this morning and got this text from my UC grad spouse....No one here in Cincinnati seems to be excited about Satterfield.
You know Cincy is moving to the Big 12 next seasonUL is a stepping stone for AAC gigs? That’s embarrassing.
Something stinks…
No doubt this is a step up for Satterfield. LOLYou know Cincy is moving to the Big 12 next season
Why would he not? For one Cincinnati is now a better opportunity as it enters the big 12. Especially once Texas and Oklahoma leave and he’s going to a school that wants him. Normally I would say it’s a bad look but he has clearly been looking to get out … and they hate him so…that says a lotMakes me wonder about that recruiting class.
How stable is it.
Why would he walk away from that for Cincinnati?
I know louisville tried to fire him. Thought everyone had settled.
Seems he could wait another year and move to something a little better.
Should have waited till their game to announce this LOL
We're you laughing last year as Levis threw up his L's down as he scampered for 1 more touch down. Back to the sewer with ya hoodrat.I saw coen beign a candidate for you all I laughed, just imagine if Deion were still available he would have killed it at Louisville
It really doesnt. Their fanbase cant be happyWhat a dumb hire for Cincinnati. They were a playoff team last year. Makes no sense.
I had the same thoughtFrom UKs point of view I am ***VERY*** excited we now battle Satt for Southern Ohio kids than Fickle anymore, and not Brian Hartline or Urban
John Schlarman.Needs to be said every year: former players/alums don't add any more to coaching than hiring the best guy possible. If anything it makes it more painful if they fail & you have to fire them.
Who did a better job, Joker Phillips or Mark Stoops? Bo Pelini at Nebraska or Scott Frost?
Correct...it could also destroy your career.Needs to be said every year: former players/alums don't add any more to coaching than hiring the best guy possible. If anything it makes it more painful if they fail & you have to fire them.
Who did a better job, Joker Phillips or Mark Stoops? Bo Pelini at Nebraska or Scott Frost?
Nope they owe Louisville $3.5 million for Satterfield buyoutDid Cincy also get a lump sum of cash in this trade?
