I am to the point that 1 and done players must go. We don't want them in college basketball. This kid has found a way to be 1/2 and done. I would much rather watch 4 year players play in college basketball than watch selfish kids play for 1 year and then go pro. They can have the NBA that league sucks. I don't like the style of play in the NBA and do not like the majority of players in the NBA. I want kids that play for the name on the front of the shirt and not players that play for the name on the back.
You aren't finding a guy as good as Sharpe in the portal.

Nobody is saying anything about this year. We are POTENTIALLY losing the top prospect in the deepest HS class in the last 25 years to add to next years team. This could be a title missing piece. You get what im saying? Thats why im so mad.
Sharpe had ZERO intention of playing for ANYONE this year, let alone AZ.

1. Sharpe may or may not play at Kentucky next year. But the logic that if he doesn't it is somehow Calipari's fault, and that Kentucky should never have gotten involved in his recruitment is baffling and mostly just another way for people who don't like Cal to vent.
2. This time last year not one person on this board could identify Grady, Wheeler, TyTy., or Cj Fredrick (before he was hurt) as a likely Kentucky player for the 21-22 season. Oscar had just gotten on the radar. The idea that if Sharpe doesn't play Kentucky is totally sunk is ludicrous. There is much more fluidity in putting together a team than even a couple years ago, and Cal and staff have proven very adroit at it.

I’m not jumping off any bridge. IF he plays this year and contributes good. If he doesn’t and leaves Cal signed him because no one else was willing to play this game and knew what was up.
I’m just ready to get back to the name on the front of the jersey being first and foremost. Not the name on the back, the nba, or the coach.
My biggest aggravation in this is that this is a distraction that the team doesn't need to have to hear from fans and the media.
Before he got here, players could go straight into the NBA from high school. So the top of the elite talent didn’t have to spend their time playing overseas or playing at college like they do now. Now they have no other choice.
Like I said, it’s not a Diallo situation where they have to prove themselves and fight for draft stock. Sharpe already has incredibly high draft stock. Players on the current team are fighting to up theirs and to grow as players. We don’t have a guaranteed top 10 pick on the team currently playing, let alone a guaranteed lottery pick.

I just don’t like him collecting if he’s not gonna pay it back by playing. And I don’t like the fact that Cal and UK hid it. But I’m not mad, I’m gonna eat dinner, jerk off, go to bed, and wake up tomorrow just like I would if Sharpe leads us to the title.
