Lose second game 5-0. Just could not touch Huskie's pitchers in either game. Third year in a row losing in super regionals. No idea what next year holds losing Cheek, Reed and several others.

They have a top 5 recruiting class coming in but will be very inexperienced for the most part. The future is much brighter for softball compared to baseball lol.
Seems like we get some good quality pitchers, but haven' t had that dominant type pitcher that can carry you when the offense isn't clicking. Washington actually had 2 such pitchers !
They haven’t had someone like that since Kelsey Nunley or Meagan Prince. Kelsey was as dominant as anyone in 2014 when they went to the World Series.
Really could have used the young lady that went to Bama. Does anybody know if we ever had a shot.
There was another post about her and I may be wrong but I think Bama got in with her early and she never wavered to her commitment.
