I will say it about Cal, he is NOT a good in game coach. Should have had back to back FF's, but he gaged it up against a sorry K-State team, and choked against an Auburn team playing without it's best player !
So. I never had to have a coach coach my effort. If coaches are coaching effort, then you are in trouble. These kids know plenty well to prepare themselves to get ready to play. This isn't pop Warner. These guys are on a high level.
He lost me when he played a Harrison over Ulis against Wisky n the final four and we lost. I like him but I’ll never trust him again and I don’t think we will win it all with him again...but that’s just me.

There is a glaring issue that no one has mentioned. The 4 main players who had as much to do with UK's 10-3 season are no longer playing. Josh Allen, the S #7, Davis I think was his name, Benny Snell and Terry Wilson. That's a whole lot of talent, 2 are generational type talents and the other 2 were great team leaders. Those guys don't grow on trees and having to replace 1 is hard to do but you are having to replace 4.

Nobody, I'm sure. That's just a phrase that I used to describe some people that act like he does no wrong and is above any and all questioning/criticism. And those people/fans are around. They're not hard to spot.
And I agree. But there r ppl who say Stoops made them and there r ppl who say they made Stoops. I think they made Stoops personally.
Few losses and all of a sudden Mark Stoops doesn't know anything about football. Some people on here are so fickle, it is hard to believe.

No, but he has failed to recruit a top QB since he has been here and recruited the terrible kicker.
That was a great call by him. Kirby is always locked in but he did pull a Stoops going for that FG with only 6 inches to gain instead trying to get a Tuddy and run more clock. ND had no more time outs. Other then that he made adjustments and for most part shut them down.
I think most of us can agree on that. Not to take away from his great recruits, but we have been sorely lacking at QB or depth at QB I shud say. And Poore is a disaster.
Most teams struggle to get elite QBs. Every big time QB stoops has recruited has ended up hurt. And Wilson was proven to be a too QB. We was 12-3 as a starter.

Most? SEC is chocked full of good QBs...even the backups r good. If u don’t think we have lacked at the position, idk what to tell u.
We have lacked. But again, we have had a lot of injuries at that position. And the SEC isn't full of them. Tua, Bo Nix, Fromm, Burroughs, and......????? And those are the top teams in all of college football.
Mond struggles, Bentley was not great, UTs QB is not great, neither was Frank's or Trask. Ole Miss?? No. Missouri, good but not great. Arkansas or Vandy?? Nope. So again, most teams struggle getting great QBs.

Mizzu has Kelly Bryant. He was Clemson’s QB. He’s gonna light is up for like 500 yards. My point is other teams seem to recover from Qb woes and we never even have a great startin Qb. And vandy has that Vaughn kid who isn’t a Qb but he’s like Benny on cocaine lol
But haven't we? We lost Barker and then Johnson came in and led us to two bowl games when everyone thought we were done. Then Terry comes in and is 12-3 as a starter here. That's pretty dang good bro. And, as bad as the numbers look on Smith, many of those we're flat out drops today. He could have completed about 7 more passes and thrown for three TDs today had we caught the ball.
I don’t have anything against Sawyer Smith. He’s suitable. Just once tho...I’d like to do what UF did and have a great QB come n for the starter. Or Bama givin up Hurts for tua. Just once, I’d like to hit the damn Qb lottery lol

Fact man. I hear ya. Hopefully Beau Allen can be that guy. And I have heard great things about Gmore from my buddy who lives in NOLA. So hopefully he pans out as well.
What’s funny is when UK has great QBs we either have shitty Olines or shitty defense....if I had 3 wishes, I swear, UK wud FOR ONCE have an amazing QB, a great oline and a sick defense. So yea, basically never. Lol

That's fair. I just don't remember hearing this last year when we beat Florida, went 10-3 and won the Citrus Bowl. But we lose our starting QB, lose a few games and now Mark Stoops isn't a head coach and it's all garbage. So weak.
If you don't think that video of Kash's behavior was a bad look for himself, the team, coaches and the university then kiss-off...glad you're taking some time off, though I doubt it.

I dont know that thats true. Notre dame would have ran a completely different offense if they had the chance for a tie.. may have been a different result.
Regardless, stoops would have never made that timeout. How many times have we seen unguarded touchdowns in HUGE situations?
