If you really are “capable of praising the job Stoops has done while acknowledging his shortcomings”, that would not distinguish you. It is a very low bar. With the exception of a few trolls and hopeless pessimists, everyone here can do that.
Where people differ is in their powers of perception and comprehension. Your OP generated a little bit of support, but a whole lot of opposition. You now have six pages of fans mostly disagreeing with you. But you keep repeating the same theme over and over, while you discount those who disagree with what you are saying.
What distinguishes your comments is that a major roster rebuild culminating in a 10-3 season with a Citrus Bowl victory has not dissuaded you from proclaiming that “we have no head coach”, while you reject all other points of view by prefacing that with “say what you want, but”. You are convinced only you are right and anyone who disagrees with you is “not able to do the same” in your own words.
But your premise is demonstrably discredited. Stoops has already won major awards for the job he is doing as our head coach, and those voters know what they are talking about. This is a retooling season, but two-thirds of the season still remains to be played. There will always be a few negative nancies. Goes with the territory. You and seccats04 should start your own website. You can call it “UK football sucks” or something similar that suits your views.
