Saban is COVID-19 positive

Two SEC games postponed, one SEC coach COVID positive, and it's only Wednesday. Wonder if TAMU players/staff were tested after playing Florida?

Saban could have a rough time with it. Or he could not. Even though he is 68 he is in good condition and health.

Line still Alabama -3.5 at sportsbooks.

This is good news.

As long as players test negative, game is a go.

I was really worried how he would do with it. But seems to have it whipped.
Recoveries like his are important to highlight. You actually have a great chance against C19 if you aren’t in a care facility. independent elderly still do well.

some legitimate estimations now that there’s been 500M infected in the world...that’s a lot of recoveries.

Saban and his mesh mask didn't fare too well. Hopefully we can catch a break and avoid it or avoid teams that need to be shut down with it. It makes for a long week when the Cats are off.

He is healthy, his odds are in his favor by a wide margin. Heck, as I look up the numbers he has a 80% chance that he will have little to no symptoms. The more these famous people are highlighted the better.

My question is once he has recovered, will he still be required to wear a mask on the field? You know, asking scientifically speaking.

I am beginning to have a bad feeling about the season.

Never thought it would finish so every game, every week, is a bonus. It was only a matter of time before big name people got it.

I hope it doesn't affect Saban or others seriously.

Your post was yesterday, just put a small bet about 6PM EST on Georgia and got +6 points. Maybe Saban is improving?

I suspect early diagnosis from continually testing has a great deal to do with survivability, maybe not so much with infection. Reduced infection rates appear to be different from survivability rates. That's one advantage athletes have over the general public, they are tested far more. It is also very interesting how the NBA just concluded their play-off season without a single athlete testing positive. A lot could be learned by that.

How else would you force virtue signaling to everyone else?? Do you really think logic would be applied?

If Saban tests negative three times in a row, then he had a false positive to begin with. Not even Saint Saban can beat the Covid virus in less than a week.
The controls on the test are set to minimize false negatives. That will increase false positives which is the lesser of the two evils.

I do not believe he will be on the sidelines. Positive Wednesday. Negative yesterday (Thursday). Would find out today’s (Friday) results tomorrow. Then needs one more negative test. Believe I read they have to be 24 hours apart. Am I missing something?
