I was down between him and Middleton. I wanted a good wing defender, shooter and passer so changed my mind. Really like his all around game. Wanted Beal badly, too, though. Good pick.
Those are the two that I wanted. I was going to take Middleton and hope that Beal would make it back to me.
This pick is an easy one for me and someone I can’t believe is still on the board. Easily the best defender in the NBA for the last 4-5 years and honestly should be defensive POY every season. His advanced stats are ridiculous. Top 3 in defensive win shares, top 5 in PER, top 5 in block percentage, top 5 in offensive win shares, I could go on and on. He is an absolute anchor in the middle and all you need a big for is to be a glass eater and a rim protector. He has just been held back by playing with the black hole Donovan Mitchell lol

Almost a fair question at this point... I'm trying to stay away from retreads though. There's several players I won't touch regardless if they would help me win only cause I think they are has beens and never got it done.
