Forgive me if I trust what I’m seeing and reading from infectious disease experts rather than what I see on a political message board. Not a shot at you personally.
I understand. We're all reading the same things. All by very smart people experts in their field. But if that's infectious it's already too late.
Here's the other and more likely possibility imo: it isn't nearly as infectious as they think. The numbers don't add up. I think there are two reasons:
1) the data we got from Italy and China is just not correct. Then we saw the cruise ship infectious rate and assumed the worst. In reality I can't imagine a worse scenario than a cruise ship for an infectious scenario.
2) the virus was already here. I think this is a near certainty. The first tested confirmation was Jan 21. It was probably here weeks or months prior and people just didn't know what it was.
